Astro News September 30, 2015

As we move into the month of October, we look at concluding things we have been dealing with for the past year or even more. This can be a very exciting time as we gain clarity on things and have some "A-Ha" Moments. Then in turn, we can draw conclusions as to what is truly best for our lives.

Last Sunday's Supermoon eclipse has passed and your anxiety levels should be much more comfortable. There's a short time left until Mercury goes forward on the 9th. So make plans but do not spring into action until then.

It seems most all of the planets are involved in some way or another, giving insight into our personal lives.

Venus and Mars are both in Virgo helping us make logical and precise choices in love and money. You may feel like you have a lot on your plate, that you are juggling too much and yes this may be the case, but the chaos also gives you a chance to look at your life and decide what's truly important and what's not. It gives you a chance to decide what to keep and what to let go of. You will decide what's most important this month and make the neccessary changes to free up time and energy to devote to those things and people you love the most.

Keep in mind we have a New Moon on October 12 in the sign of Libra which is Opposite Uranus and Squares Pluto. Usually new moons are easier than full moons but this one can create some chaos in relationships. This new moon points out the things that need to change.  In other words, do not stick in a negative, bad or limiting situation. The new moon is good for new beginnings. So it is a positive period to take action.

Karmic Saturn is Squaring Venus and Neptune too. The Universe is showing you what your relatioship truly represents. The blinders and the rose colored glasses come off. You will see your boss, your frienedships, your marriage and more for what they truly are. If positive, this aspect will reinforce that you are on the right path. If not for your highest good, the cosmos will point this out too.

And the Universe offers support .....With The Mars/Jupiter Conjunction Trining Pluto, you are being handed a wonderful opportunity to create the type of life, love and happiness you desire but only if you make the neccessary changes to do so. The Universe will help you.

Little Tidbits:

-Thursday and Friday there may be too much on your plate. If you can take time to create more space and less work this weekend, you will be much happier. Do what needs to be done and nothing more.

-By late Tuesday and Wednesday you should feel lighter about life and have much more clarity on what you should do. Its like this anxiety and uncertainty that surrounded you is finally lifiting. You have more concrete and satisfying ideas of the how you want to proceed with a decision.

-When the moon moves into Gemini later in the week, it will trine the Sun in Libra, so there is some pleasant oportunities for good communication in many relationships. Then the moon will move into sentimental Cancer and home/family be the focus.

Astro News September 25, 2015

Today, we all are feeling the eclipse energy as it builds to  a peak this Sunday. The Libra Sun also hits the Nodes of Fate today. Watch for signs and symbols pertaining to the karma you are dealing with and the direction in which you should head. These signs are all around you. You just need to take notice. If you are an Empath, you are feeling the energies of this eclipse coming much more than other people. You are sensing pain, joy, anxiety and more. Many of you are reporting that you can't sleep or are getting up at odd hours and cannot get back to sleep. This eclipse energy is affecting your sleep patterns too.

Mercury Retrograde in Libra is also square to Pluto so if you are feeling pulled in several directions at once, it's because there are other planets squaring this week too. But this Pluto square is the most powerful one and then later in the week, Mars will square Saturn. This will give us a reality check of sorts. We will be able to see people's ulterior motives. Lies, scandal and secrets are being exposed. Although it can be difficult to see people's true colors, it will be good to clearly see people for what they truly are. These aspects help expose situations that you need to be aware of so you can make educated choices. Today and throughout the weekend, the energy promotes opportunities to talk things over with friends, your therapist or your astrologer.

Meanwhile, Mars enters Virgo Friday and this means we are all getting down to business. Virgo is the sign of the Worker Bee so you are going to feel like tackling a lot of work. However with mercury retrograde, it is best to finish things up between now and October 9th and then start new work projects after that.

Friday could be a weird day as old memories and situations from this past summer come up, especially from Late July and August.

Mars entering Virgo this weekend brings energy and drive to the part of our chart that contains this sign. There was just an eclipse in Virgo September 13 and Jupiter moved into Virgo in August. The north node will soon be there too. So there is a lot of Virgo energy in the atmosphere. Mars will be in for Virgo for about six weeks. This is where you should be focusing your energy if you want to accomplish a great deal. What is your assignment from the Universe the next six weeks with Mars here?  What should be working on to be most effective? It's different for all of us depending on where Virgo falls in our personal charts.

Another big aspect...

Pluto in Capricorn moves forward so there is a huge shift and change in direction that deals with our power and personal gain. Tap into your personal power and get to the heart of matters. You will feel this shift and want to go after something like never before. You'll be super motivated.

On Saturday, Mars will square Saturn. These two are not happy connecting. It's like an ex who you stilll have to deal with that won't leave you alone. Some sort of challenge may occur that you must deal with under this aspect. Be aware of people picking fights just for the sake of picking fights. This aspect is the hardest for Virgo, Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius.

And don't forget the Eclipse this Sunday in Aries. There'll be some sort of a breakthrough happening for many of you.

It s a karmic time and speaks to our relationship karma, obligations and promises we made to others. For Empath Types, it will be an intense weekend and you'll grow to understand and gain more clarity about your relationships. Something may end. It may have to, It may need to. But regardless of what comes out of this eclipse, it could take up to 3 months to see the full benefit of it.

Racing Extinction (2015)

A documentary that follows undercover activists trying to stave off a man-made mass extinction.

Director:

Louie Psihoyos

Writer:

Mark Monroe

Stars:

Elon Musk, Joel Sartore, Louie Psihoyos

Storyline

Scientists predict we may lose half the species on the planet by the end of the century. They believe we have entered the sixth major extinction event in Earth's history. Number five took out the dinosaurs. This era is called the Anthropocene, or 'Age of Man', because the evidence shows that humanity has sparked this catastrophic loss. We are the only ones who can stop it as well. The Oceanic Preservation Society, the group behind the Academy Award® winning film THE COVE, is back for "Racing Extinction". Along with some new innovators, OPS will bring a voice to the thousands of species on the very edge of life. An unlikely team of activists is out to expose the two worlds endangering species across the globe. The first threat to the wild comes from the international trade of wildlife. Bogus markets are being created at the expense of creatures who have survived on this planet for millions of years. The other threat is all around us, hiding in plain sight. There's a hidden world that ...

Reviews

I found harlemblues review to be a terrible misrepresentation. They are prepared to call the documentary dishonest, but have many misrepresentations in their review. Where to start?Is a documentary required to 'focus(ing) on one aspect?' No. Why? This documentary showed the top to the bottom of the problem we are facing - from climate change, to overfishing, and many others. Focusing on one aspect would have been incomplete.Yes, I am sure that many of the issues have been covered in other documentaries. This is an important topic. Not everyone has seen those other documentaries.No, this documentary isn't essentially racist - which is the implication of this review. Some bad things happen in China and Indonesia. These are illustrative problems, and not an attempt to paint these people as all bad or criminals. Some people have been sold a lie about a product making them feel better. The demand for this product leads to absurd outcomes. The outcomes serve as a representation of how people (almost all of us) are damaging the planet. They mention the terrible contribution of CO2. The damage done my farming. The cost of our transport and industrial production. Yet because they went after a few (Asian) people who were doing either bad things or pointlessly damaging (but financially beneficial), the whole thing should be written off?

Reviews

The story of chess great Bobby Fisher is definitely a complex one as we watch Bobby as a young child (Young actors Aiden Lovekamp and Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick, who play Fischer as a boy and teenager, are respectively completely convincing) growing up in the Washington Square area of Brooklyn already showing chess greatness but also showing how his paranoia builds with his mother Regina Fisher (Robin Weigert) holding secret communist party get togethers in their small apartment.

client server program in c !

In previous tutorial "Introduction to Network Programming using TCP/IP ! " : http://programmingethicalhackerway.blogspot.in/2015/07/introduction-to-network-programming.html, We had learned about socket functions. In this tutorial, we will look at how these functions are used by server-client application. Before we proceeding, let's first we understand what exactly is the server-client ? If i say in simple words, a server is one who serve services and client is one who receive services from server. Consider a case, you are writing a program which hack the victim's computer. The idea of the program may be you are a server and your victim is client. You wrote a malicious client program which spawn shell and send it to the attacker's IP address. Now you send this client program to your victim and whenever your victim run this program, game will over. So, Your victim send shell (cmd.exe or bin/bash) to you and you receive the shell  on your server.

I hope now you get some basic idea of client-server concept. Let us first write server code , then client code. Don't get panic after looking code. I will describe each and every line in detail later.

server.c

  2. #include <sys/socket.h>
  3. #include <netinet/in.h>
  4. #include <stdio.h>
  5. #include <unistd.h>
  6. #include <stdlib.h>
  7. #include <arpa/inet.h>
  8. #define port 8080

  10. {

  12.      int yes =1;
  13.
  14.      struct sockaddr_in server;
  15.      struct sockaddr_in clienlen;

  34.           perror("Error in listening");
  35.      while (1) {
  36.          newfd =accept(fd, (struct sockaddr *)&clienlen, &clienlength);
  37.          if (newfd < 0)
  38.             perror("Error in Accepting");
  39.         printf("A connection has been accepted from %s\n", inet_ntoa((struct in_addr)clienlen.sin_addr));
  40.          num = recv(newfd,buffer,1023,0);
  41.          printf("Recieve %d bytes from client\n",num);
  42.          if (num == -1) {
  43.             perror("Error in Reading");
  44.          }
  45.          else {
  46.            buffer[num]='\0';
  47.            printf("Message from client : %s\n",buffer);
  48.            serlength = strlen(msg);
  49.            num = send(newfd,msg,serlength,0);
  50.            if (num < serlength)
  51.                 perror("Error in writing");
  52.            if (close(newfd) == -1)
  53.                 perror("Error in closing");
  54.
  55.      }
  56.      }
  57.
  58. }

Now i will explain step by step.
The header file #include <sys/types.h> contains definitions of a number of data types used in system calls.
The header file #include <netinet/in.h> contains constants and structures needed for internet domain addresses.
The header file #include <sys/socket.h> includes a number of definitions of structures needed for sockets.
The Two variables fd and newfd are file descriptors and store the values returned by the socket system call and the accept system call. clienlen stores the size of the address of the client. num is the return value for the read() and write() calls.

A sockaddr_in is a structure containing an internet address.We have already discussed about this  structure in our previous tutorial.

The socket() system call creates a new socket. It takes three arguments as we already discussed previously. If the socket call fails, it returns -1.

The setsockopt() function allow us to reuse a given address for binding. Without this option set, when the program tries to bind to a given port, it will fail if that port is already in use.

The variable server is a structure of type struct sockaddr_in. This structure has four fields and set accordingly our requirement.

Now The bind() call passes the socket file descriptor, the address structure,  and the length of the address structure.

The listen() call tells the socket to listen for incoming connections. It takes two arguments. The first argument is the socket file descriptor, and the second is the the number of connections that can be waiting.

The accept() call actually accepts an incoming connection.The accept() system call causes the process to block until a client connects to the server.It takes three arguments. The accept() function returns a new socket file descriptor for the accepted connection. This way, the original socket file descriptor can continue to be used for accepting new connections, while the new socket file descriptor
is used for communicating with the connected client.

Once a connection has been established, everything written by the client will be read by the server, and everything written by the server will be read by the client. So when our connection has been established, we will receive a message from our client and then our server send a message "Received your message. Good Bye!" to the client.

Whos a Hacker? Whats a Hacker? DevOps?

A hacker is something in between a system engineer and a computer scientist. Something in between a developer and a programmer. Not quite like a DevOp.
What's the difference between a developer and a programmer? If you ask me, to me it looks like this. A developer is probably someone who finishes a college and learns to use one or maybe two languages. Most probably automatically memory managed ones. Still mabe one of them being statically typed. Like Java, C# or maybe even some PHP, a bit more script-ish one. Gets A bit more practice then theory. And a programmer is most probably is someone who finishes a university and learns several different languages. A few more then a developer. With some of them being without automatic memory management. Like C/C++ for example. Or maybe some Python as a scripIsh one. Also get somewhat more theory. And how does hacker fits here inbetween? Well, to me it looks kind of like this: After college you still have learned some theory and gained some practical experience, but you still know a littlebit to little to be to creative and call yourself a hacker. And knowing all the theory after university you alredy can't easily call yourself a mere hacker. Because you are then more closer to the DevOp. Which is kind of like a computer scientist in production. :D
But what's a difference between system engineer and a computer scientist? If you ask me, to me it looks also that system engineer most probably has finished college and a computer scientist have finished a university. And when this system engineer expands his expertise and starts scripting he morphes more into a hacker. When programming and maybe even more, sysadmining/configuration managing computer scientist morphes more into a DevOp. :D
If this all makes any sense at all. :D

The movie is a must see. Very well put together. The scenes are intense and suspenseful. The movie kept me wondering what would be the outcome. Based on a true story it had moments that I wondered, how can any good come out of the tragedy in these persons lives, and then as the movie continued the inspiration came forward as a glimmer of humanity that gives light to redemption and hope. The lead actors were phenomenal. I recommend parents take their teenage children (13 and up) to see this movie and open up the discussion of the healing power of redemption in any circumstance. Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Don't let a review from someone who has not seen it deceive you. This movie holds its own all the way to the end. It alienates no one and speaks to everyone.

Lame!! Confusing!! Catastrophe!! The most confused director i have ever observed. He has placed himself at the helm of a sinking ship relying on such confusing plot, an unconvincing romance between co-stars.It was a tormenting journey throughout the movie and felt many times that it could have been ended right there. You want plot? Katti Batti is a very bad combination of 500 days of summer, sweet November,Striken and a few i don't remember.You will feel many times puzzled if i am watching the same movie.One of the most lame romantic movie of the year. My advice, if you are expecting a good Rom com movie by watching its trailer then don't go for it. It is boring, slack and stupid at many times. Avoid giving yourself a tormenting 135 minutes experience.

Winchester College

              This summer I went to Winchester College, which is about an hour south of London. The flight was short and the trip went by very quick. When we got to the airport, a representative from the school was there to pick us up to take us to Winchester. Each of us was assigned to a different boarding house, and I really enjoyed getting to know and hang out with the guys in my house. I had a room all to myself, but I could go visit anyone whenever I wanted was almost never in my room except for nights. I toke geography, chemistry, and philosophy, which were all interesting yet easy. Teaching in the UK is much more discussion based rather than lectures, so you are involved a lot more. Also students specialize their last two years so they are not taking every subject. My house was renown for having the best food, which it did, but whenever I was hungry other times I would go into town with friends from my house and classes and enjoy the city of Winchester. There are a lot of great places to eat and explore in Winchester. In my free time after school I tried to get involved in as many sports as possible. I played water polo, cricket, dodgeball, football, and even competed in a track meet and a tug of war. Alec Vest and I also ran up this giant hill most days, which always had its challenges that were rewarded with beautiful views. Though it is quite long being 5 weeks, I had a great time and I made friends I will never forget. I also got to explore many cool activities and places in London. I want to thank the Warner Family, MBA, and Mr. Gioia for letting me go on this life changing trip.

The trip over to Sydney was not a short one as Gray, Conner, George, and I spent over 24 hours traveling from Nashville to Sydney. We were welcomed by our host families and taken to school after a short trip to Bondi Beach. Battling jet lag, we were given our school uniforms and put into our dorm rooms. George, Gray, and I were put in MacArthur Waddy House and Conner was put into Baker House.  It took some time for us to get adjusted to boarding school life, but soon came to love it. Gray and I even participated in the "cross country" which was a race between the different school houses. During the weekends our host families were nice enough to show us an array of activities throughout Sydney. We were taken to an AFL game, a rugby game, the Sydney harbor bridge climb, and the Sydney Zoo. My host family also took me out into the country, mudgee, one weekend to get a taste of life outside of the city.  I am very thankful to Mr. Gioia, Mrs. Warner, and MBA for this truly life changing experience. Unfortunately my phone broke recently and I lost most of my pictures from the trip, but here are a few I was able to salvage.

Black Mass (I) (2015)

The true story of Whitey Bulger, the brother of a state senator and the most infamous violent criminal in the history of South Boston, who became an FBI informant to take down a Mafia family invading his turf.

Director:

Scott Cooper

Writers:

Mark Mallouk (screenplay), Jez Butterworth (screenplay)

Stars:

Johnny Depp, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dakota Johnson

Storyline

John Connolly and James "Whitey" Bulger grew up together on the streets of South Boston. Decades later, in the late 1970s, they would meet again. By then, Connolly was a major figure in the FBI's Boston office and Whitey had become godfather of the Irish Mob. What happened between them - a dirty deal to trade secrets and take down Boston's Italian Mafia in the process - would spiral out of control, leading to murders, drug dealing, racketeering indictments, and, ultimately, to Bulger making the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List.

Release Date: 18 September 2015 (USA)

Reviews

"It's not what you do, it's when and where you do it, and who you do it to or with. If nobody sees it, it didn't happen." Whitey Bulger (Johnny Depp) Black Mass is as amoral as that quote and grim—a true-story as brutal as the murders committed on the screen. By "brutal" I also mean the cinematography, as was the case with director Scott Cooper's "Out of the Furnace," which depicts a somber, dark South Boston, where danger comes from every opening a street might have.The story of notorious gangster Whitey Bulger (Johnny Depp) carries much of the darkness, if not all. Whitey's role as kingpin mobster and informant for the FBI requires deftness only actors like Depp can carry off. Yes, as the gangster formula usually has it, he evidences warmth and compassion at moments, but his operative emotion is anger.Similar to the gangster actors like Pacino and De Niro, Depp brings a quiet menace to the screen, whereby even the audience must respect the boss, Bulger. Depp is far better than he has been in years (no tics, no phony accents, etc.), underplaying a role Pacino might have chewn up along with the scenery. His humanistic interactions like caring for his son or an old lady are few but reveal a nuanced character not just a murderer.

Reviews

Probably t+he best film I've seen in 2015 so far, along with Mad Max.Since I'm a book nerd, I did expect much from this film, and I got even more. I am actually not sure which one is better.There's a lot of changes for sure, but I consider it to be a positive thing since you get two awesome things, not only one.Great effects, great cast. A good sense of humor and some high class action. It's like 10 genres combined in one film. Not suitable for children though, in my opinion. The guy, 25+ years old, that was sitting next to me was scared as hell. Cranks do look somewhat scarier then the walkers in TWD, and are faster and more aggressive.Comparing to the first film, you can imagine The Maze Runner being a toddler, and The scorch trials being an adult. It is definitely more serious and hardcore.One more film TST has reminded me of was Snowpiercer, so if you're a fan you'll definitely like it.

Astro News September 18, 2015

Couple Kissing
It's been a tough few days but things may get a little easier over the weekend. You may have had to say goodbye to a few people today or yesterday. People are exiting the earth plane. Break ups and friendships are fading. Lots of inner frustrations for everyone. Planets changing signs, moving forward and backwards, eclipse energy. Breathe! It will be okay. Breathe!

Saturn finally moves out of Scorpio and back into Sagittarius after a 6 month visit in the first half of 2015) where he will stay for the next 2.4 years

Mercury also went retrograde Thursday in the sign of partnerships, Libra. So we all will be reviewing our relationships as well as our commitments and communications with others.

I decided to write to include some Goddess aspects in this week's Astro news.
Juno in Libra now is bringing even more focus to relationships and commitments. We may have to let someone or something go so we can allow ourselves to grow. You will feel very adamant about furthering your spiritual growth. The steps you take to do this and to evolve into who you are supposed to be are BIG. And you will be rewarded for the choices you make as long as they help you evolve.

More relationship stuff comes on Saturday too when Juno aspects the karmic North Node in Libra. This is a period of FATE AND DESTINY! Huge things can take place now in partnerships, love and romance. This wave of karmic energy is encompassing the world, bringing people together that should be together and destroying the relationships that are not supposed to continue. Some of you will be meeting a soul mate during the next several weeks. Other folks will be taking a relationship to the next level. And still, some of you may say goodbye to partners that are not part of your personal spiritual evolution. What is over must be released so you can proceed in the best direction for your highest good. So many of my clients are going through this now.

Ask yourself this question: Is this work place, this situation, this person.... holding me back or helping me reach my highest potential?

You have a karmic choice to make about the obligations and commitments you have in place now.
Pretty big stuff sandwiched in-between all of the other astrological energies, wouldn't ya say?

Over the weekend, the moon is in Sagittarius and makes a pleasant connection to three planets so have some fun! With Jupiter opposing Neptune you'll have some cool dreams with important messages.

Reviews

It's not that the story holds no surprises (save for the occasional controversies that surround the fate of characters like Hannibal Lecter), it's just that many of us have already read the book, and thus we've already directed our own version of the story. We've already seen it in our mind's eye.

Everest (2015)

A climbing expedition on Mt. Everest is devastated by a severe snow storm.

Director:

Baltasar Kormákur

Writers:

William Nicholson (screenplay), Simon Beaufoy (screenplay)

Stars:

Jason Clarke, Ang Phula Sherpa, Thomas M. Wright

Storyline

On the morning of May 10, 1996, climbers (Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin) from two expeditions start their final ascent toward the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth. With little warning, a violent storm strikes the mountain, engulfing the adventurers in one of the fiercest blizzards ever encountered by man. Challenged by the harshest conditions imaginable, the teams must endure blistering winds and freezing temperatures in an epic battle to survive against nearly impossible odds.

Release Date: 25 September 2015 (USA)

Reviews

For the 99.999 percent of us who will never climb Mount Everest, the new 3D Imax drama Everest provides plenty of vividly illustrated reasons to rationalize leaving it off one's bucket list. However, there are quite a few good reasons to see this robust dramatization of a 1996 assault on the world's tallest mountain that went disastrously wrong, beginning with the eye-popping, you- are-there visual techniques that make you feel glad indeed that you're not actually up there at 29,029 feet, but also including multiple characters sufficiently humanized to create real concern for their fates, and an attention to realistic detail that gives the film texture. Universal should be able to add this one to its impressive list of 2015 box-office successes. This autumn seems to be the season for vertigo-inducing 3D Imax releases, what with this and the World Trade Center tightrope-walking drama The Walk in the offing. All the same, Everest doesn't go in for cheap shots or sensation for sensation's sake, remaining close to the men and women who have journeyed to the Himalayas for different reasons but for the same purpose: to get to the top of the world. With its perilous central premise and gallery of individuals some of whom are destined not to make it, you could say Everest is a disaster movie in the old Hollywood sense of the term, but it doesn't feel like one. And that's a good thing. Telling the same story as, but not officially based on, Jon Krakauer 's best-selling book Into Thin Air (perhaps because it was already officially adapted for a 1997 TV movie, Into Thin Air: Death on Everest ), the film hinges on the freakish conditions that led to the deaths of eight climbers on May 10, 1996. Krakauer is present as a character (played by House of Cards' Michael Kelly), there to write an article for Outside magazine. The fact that some engaging, friendly Aussies are front and center as the main tour organizers and guides may account for a good deal of the films immediate accessibility; they're the competent, reassuring type you'd feel good entrusting yourself to on such an expedition. Running Adventure Consultants is Rob Hall ( Jason Clarke), a seemingly all-around great guy, and he's helped out most importantly by logistics coordinator Helen ( Emily Watson ), and guide and close friend Guy (Clarke's fellow ex- Terminator Sam Worthington).
