Fireworks, car rallies and dance shows are the most common activities. People will usually dress up in UAE national flag colours, decorate their homes, workplaces, cars and streets to celebrate the day with joy and happiness. Heritage Villages are set all over the emirates in order to celebrate this event traditionally. Holidays are given from the National Day until two days later. Airshows are conducted while military processions are held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition for the Rulers of the Emirates, members of the Federal National Council, and the Emirati citizens.

In late 220, Cao Pi usurped the throne from Emperor Xian, ended the Eastern Han dynasty, and established the Cao Wei state with himself as the new emperor. As Guo Huai fell sick on his journey to the imperial capital Luoyang and had to rest until he was well, he showed up late to congratulate Cao Pi on his coronation. Later, while hosting a banquet to celebrate his coronation, Cao Pi sternly asked Guo Huai in front of all the guests: "In the past, when Yu the Great called the nobles to attend an assembly at Tushan, Fangfeng showed up late and was executed as punishment. Today, you showed up late for the festivities. Why is that so?" Guo Huai replied: "I heard that the Five Emperors taught and ruled their people by virtue. The use of punishments started in the Xia dynasty when its rule began to weaken. Today, as I am living in an age comparable to that of Yao and Shun's time, I know that I won't face the same fate as Fangfeng."

Cao Pi was pleased to hear Guo Huai's response. He appointed Guo Huai as acting Inspector (刺史) of Yong Province and enfeoffed him as the Marquis of Sheyang Village (射陽亭侯). Guo Huai was officially commissioned as the Inspector of Yong Province about five years later in 225. Sometime between 220 and 226, Guo Huai led Wei forces to suppress a rebellion by the Qiang chieftain Biti (辟蹏) in Anding Commandery (安定郡; around present-day Zhenyuan County, Gansu). Whenever the Qiang and other tribal leaders in Yong Province expressed their willingness to submit to Wei rule, Guo Huai always sent his subordinates to gather information about their clans (e.g. demographics) first. When he spoke to the leaders, he surprised and impressed them with his knowledge about their clans. He also paid close attention to, and showed understanding towards the concerns they had. The people in Yong Province praised him as a brilliant and wise governor.

WP:BLP of a person notable only as a minor fringe party candidate for vice-president of the United States. This is not an automatic notability freebie per WP:NPOL just because the person exists, but there's nowhere near enough reliable source coverage here to get him over WP:GNG in lieu as the only reference here at all is a raw table of the election results. As well, the article has been tagged for notability since 2010 without improvement -- literally the only edits that have taken place at all since then have been the addition and removal of the deprecated persondata template, and a category change. There's literally nothing here to make him encyclopedically notable for this. Bearcat (talk) 03:43, 18 November 2017 (UTC)

The chin curtain beard is a particular style of facial hair that grows along the jaw line and covers the chin completely. This is not to be confused with the chinstrap beard—a similar style of beard that also grows along the jaw line but does not fully cover the chin. In addition, many chin curtain beards do not extend that far below the jawline, if at all, whereas all chinstrap beards generally do.

In the United States, this beard style remains common among married Amish men. This is a borderline-G11 puff piece not based on reliable secondary sources. None of the secondary sources given in the article cover Yardi in any detail. When I prodded the article, Toddst1 de-prodded it without improvement but said that this Google Books search establishes notability. I disagree. Many of those hits are Yardi ads in old magazines that Google has faithfully digitized. The three "for dummies" books were written by the same author who mostly engages in vague praise and advertises his use of Yardi on his professional website. None of that is particularly helpful for writing a neutral, well-referenced article. Huon (talk) 04:20, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
