The NATO Association of Canada is proud to be a part of the '16 Days Against Gender Based Violence' Campaign. For the campaign, the NATO Association of Canada has compiled an interview series with women doing great work in Canada to showcase why it is important to fight against gender-based violence.
Vina Nadjibulla is an international security expert with fifteen years of experience working at the United Nations in New York and Central and West Africa. Vina is a native speaker of Tajik and Russian and is fluent in English. Her areas of interest and expertise include strategic planning, policy development and organizational change management, as well as human rights and gender mainstreaming in fragile and conflict-affected states. She has lived and worked in over 50 countries and is a major advocate for women's rights, conflict prevention, social inclusion, corporate accountability, and education.
