"Black Widow" Movie Updates

Posted: 10 Jan 2018 06:56 PM PST

Marvel Studios is moving forward with their developing "Black Widow" solo feature, based on the Marvel Comics character, with Jac Schaeffer writing the screenplay,
with actress Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as female spy 'Natasha Romanoff':

"I've spoken to Kevin (Feige) about it," Johansson said about a solo film. "I mean, of course, of course we've had that conversation before, and I think Kevin would also like to see a standalone film."

Johansson's newest 'Black Widow' appearance will be in the upcoming feature "Avengers: Infinity War", directed by Anthony and Joseph Russo.

In 2009, Johansson signed on to play 'Natasha Romanoff'/'Black Widow' in multiple films, beginning with 2010's "Iron Man 2." In that introductory role, she is an undercover spy for 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' posing as an assistant to 'Tony Stark'.

" Right now I think this character is used well in this part of the universe," said Johansson, "but I think that Kevin—I mean, we've talked about it and we both share similar vision for what could be a standalone series.

"I think that there's room for a standalone movie. The character has a really rich origin story and I've been really fortunate to kind of place all these layers on top of one another...

"...and kind of build up this character to this point where I think I can now start to peel them away and reveal different sides of her and really focus on...

"...I think I've been able to grow with the character, the character's been able to grow with me.""

It's been a very good relationship back and forth and I think Marvel—the one thing about working with them is they don't want anybody to work on the movie that doesn't want to be there, obviously.

"So whatever you're contracted to should not feel like golden handcuffs, and they don't want that either…"

"I will certainly be around and that's because it's been such a great response. I mean, I'm always happy to put the cat suit back on, for sure."

"If only they could get the hottest Hollywood film director to notice them. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to 'Tinsel Town', certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry.

"The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line..."

"I act for love," said Delevingne. "I give it my all. I would probably still do it even if I wasn't paid at all. But in terms of equal pay, I need to be paid the same as the guy who has equal billing with me.

"There is a passion that moves you to a whole new level of fulfillment and gratitude...

Good Morning "Angels"

Posted: 10 Jan 2018 01:24 PM PST

"Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart and Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o ("12 Years A Slave") are in talks to star in another reboot of "Charlie's Angels", as "...beautiful girls who live dangerously", to be directed by Elizabeth Banks ("Pitch Perfect 2") targeting a June 7, 2019 release:

Created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts for producer Aaron Spelling, the first 1976 line-up of 'Angels' included Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith, followed by numerous other angels until 1981.

A "Charlie's Angels" feature (2000) starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu, with a sequel titled "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle".

"...'Sabrina Duncan', 'Jill Munroe' and 'Kelly Garrett' have all graduated from the police academy in Los Angeles, California.

"Despite proving their capability during training, all three have subsequently been assigned to be a meter maid, office worker and crossing guard, respectively.

"Dissatisfied with these jobs, they are recruited to work for the 'Charles Townsend Agency' as private investigators.

"Their boss, 'Charles (Charlie) Townsend', who nicknames them 'Angels', is never seen full-face, but is often seen from the back, mostly in the company of beautiful women.

"Charlie gives the 'Angels' and his associate 'John Bosley' their assignments via a 'Western Electric Speakerphone'.

"He never meets them face-to-face, which leads to recurring queries from the 'Angels' as to when or if he will ever join them on assignment.

"In season two, San Francisco police academy graduate 'Kris Munroe' takes the place of her older sister, 'Jill', in the trio. In the fourth season, 'Tiffany Welles', a Boston police academy graduate, takes Sabrina's place.

"In the fifth and final season, model-turned-private investigator in training 'Julie Rogers' fills the void left after Tiffany's departure when she is given a temporary private detective license..."
