In an interview with Breitbart News, Kobach said the news that President Trump is dissolving the voter fraud commission should not be grounds for leftist organizations and Democrats — who sought to stop the investigations into double voting and ballots cast by non-citizens — to celebrate, as the investigations will continue under DHS.
"What's happening is a tactical shift where the mission of the commission is being handed off to Homeland Security without the stonewalling by Democrats," Kobach told Breitbart News.
"I'll be working closely with the White House and DHS to ensure the investigations continue," Kobach continued.
Kobach, who served as vice chairman of the voter fraud commission, blasted organizations like the ACLU and NAACP, along with Democrats in Congress and on the commission who attempted to halt the panel in its tracks.
"They have absolutely no interest in stopping voter fraud," Kobach said. "It's truly extraordinary that one party in our system has made clear that they don't care."
"Some people on the Left were getting uncomfortable about how much we were finding out," Kobach continued.

From The Hill:
A person close to Mercer told The Washington Post that she no longer supports Bannon. According to the report, Mercer was frustrated with Bannon’s strategy in the Alabama Senate Race, and pulled her funding after he told other major conservative donors that Mercer would back Bannon in his own presidential bid.
Rumors of a possible Bannon run in 2020 are reportedly mentioned in Michael Wolff’s new book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.”
The book caused a stir in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday when several excerpts were published.
Bannon made headlines after he was quoted in the book ripping Trump’s eldest son for a meeting in Trump Tower with a Russian lawyer who promised “dirt” on Hillary Clinton campaign.
"Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it's all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately,” Bannon said, according to the book.
President Trump responded to Bannon’s remarks in a statement on Wednesday, accusing his former adviser of losing his mind.
"Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my presidency," Trump said. "When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind."
“Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was,” the president added.

( Daily Caller ) James Comey may have leaked at least one classified memo to a friend shortly after he was fired as FBI director.
That's an assessment from Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley, who wrote a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Wednesday demanding answers about the handling of memos that Comey wrote following his conversations with President Trump.
Grassley noted that he and his staff recently reviewed seven memos that Comey wrote after his meetings with Trump. Four of those documents contained information classified as "CONFIDENTIAL" or "SECRET."
Grassley also pointed to past reporting that Comey gave four memos of his conversations with Trump to a friend, Columbia law professor Daniel Richman.
"If it's true that Professor Richman had four of the seven memos, then in light of the fact that four of the seven memos the Committee reviewed are classified, it would appear that at least one memo the former FBI director gave Professor Richman contained classified information," Grassley writes.

According to the Hollywood Reporter , "Clarke's account was not taken down, but he was barred from tweeting during that time."
Hollywood Reporter also claimed the incident "appears to be part of the tech giant's efforts to crack down on violence, hate speech and other abuse on its platform."
Clarke has since regained access to his account, where he published another anti-media post in response to the suspension.

( Fox News ) President Trump's lawyers sent a cease-and-desist letter Wednesday night threatening 'imminent' legal action against former top strategist Steve Bannon, capping a whirlwind day marked by a no-holds-barred war of words between the two men.
The letter is a response to sharply critical comments that Bannon reportedly made to journalist Michael Wolff about Trump's campaign and leadership.
Charles Harder, Trump's attorney, charges in the letter that Bannon violated a non-disclosure agreement signed during the campaign by disclosing confidential information, speaking to the media about the campaign and disparaging members of the Trump family.
Additionally, Harder suggests that Bannon told lies that defamed and slandered Trump.
"You have breached the Agreement by, among other things, communicating with author Michael Wolff about Mr. Trump, his family members, and the Company (the Trump campaign), disclosing Confidential Information to Mr. Wolff, and making disparaging statements and in some cases outright defamatory statements to Mr. Wolff about Mr. Trump, his family members," Trump attorney Charles Harder wrote to Bannon.
The letter adds that Bannon's actions give rise to "numerous legal claims including defamation by libel and slander, and breach of his written confidentiality and non-disparagement agreement with our clients. Legal action is imminent."

Stephanie Grisham, the communications director for the first lady’s office, slams Michael Wolff’s upcoming book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.”, claiming that on election night Melania “was in tears – and not of joy.”
President Trump shares his story when Melania told him to run.
International speaker Lance Wallnau told Jim Bakker a story of why Trump decided to run for president. He says Trump himself told him this story, that God told Melania that if he ran, he would win.
Dr. Wallnau is an internationally recognized speaker, business and political strategist. Donald Trump Jr. response to Steve Bannon:
Author Michael Wolff reports that Bannon claimed that Don Trump Jr will "crack […] like an egg" under pressure from the fake Russia investigations.
Bannon went as far as to call Trump Jr's agreement to meet with a Russian attorney planted by Fusion GPS as "treasonous".
