For the past several years, nuns from Catholic Charities of Rio Grande Valley have been meeting border-hoppers at the bus station. They consider the ongoing plight of illegal immigrants streaming over the Texas border to be a humanitarian crisis, so it’s their duty to help, but now their actions are at odds with the Trump administration’s crack-down on this practice.
Representing 1.2 million Catholics in South Texas, Brownsville Bishop Daniel Flores told DailyMail.com that he disagrees with Trump’s approach.
He asked the president to tone down his rhetoric and warned him against the human “capacity we have to simply not want to see”.
Bishop Flores said: “Jesus didn’t ask us to check what papers they had, Jesus asked us to check: are they hungry, are they thirsty, do they need a place to stay?”
DailyMail.com understands that the buses that arrive each day in McAllen are arranged by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Migrants who were a threat to public safety and national security would be far more likely to remain in custody, but a lack of space means that not everyone can be held.
The rest are taken in by Sacred Heart where such matters are forgotten and everyone is welcome, regardless of their background.
Sister Norma, the Executive Director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, said: “We help them because they’re people, they’re human beings and they are here in our country and they need help and this is what the community began to see, these families they were not from here and they were in dire need of help. We saw them at the bus stop, we saw them hungry and we saw them crying so our community responded. The families from our community have to help these families. I took the lead in organizing that desire that the community wanted to help. We saw the need to restore their dignity.”
Sister Norma said that when Trump was elected the numbers of migrants coming each day reached 400, though it has dropped off now.
She said: “I think before we can look at whether they have a right to be in the country we have to realize that they are here already and they need help and that’s a priority first for us as people to ensure that we take of someone who is in dire need of help.”
Speaking at his office in McAllen, Bishop Flores said that he saw parallels between the President’s treatment of migrants and the message from the Gospel of Luke.
One parable in particular talks about a wealthy man who shunned a beggar and was sent to Hades where he burned in eternity for being selfish.
Illustrations of the verse show the man walking over flames with fire coming out of his body as he pleads for mercy.
Bishop Flores said that If Trump were listing to one of his sermons he “wouldn’t look to give him a message” and would let scripture do the talking instead.

Arizona police had to call in the military to help evacuate the survivors of a sightseeing helicopter tour which crashed as it flew through the Grand Canyon late Saturday afternoon, killing three people and injuring another four, officials told ABC News.
A Papillion Airways Eurocopter EC130 “sustained substantial damage” when a crash was caused “under unknown circumstances” in the Grand Canyon,” FAA spokesman Allen Kenitzer told reporters.
The crash took place on the Hualapai Nation reservation in Peach Springs, Arizona; approximately 3 miles east of the Grand Canyon West Airport, according to authorities.
The Daily Mail reported:
Witnesses rushed to the scene but the victims were 600 ft.down in the canyon.
Photographer Teddy Fujimoto told DailyMail.com he had flown to the Grand Canyon to take wedding pictures when he saw people rushing by.
“Our pilot and other pilots all started running,” he said.
“I followed them and I saw smoke. Immediately saw two girls. I could see that they were alive and conscious. They were in their 30s or 40s. A lot of chaos going on. They were down in the valley, around 600 ft. down from where we were. People made their way down. It was certainly dangerous and a mazy climb down for them. It took around 10 minutes for the emergency services to arrive. By the time they did, most of the fire was out.”

All 71 people aboard a Saratov Airlines plane died when the plane crashed southeast of Moscow on Sunday, Russian state news agency Tass reported.
Those on board included 65 passengers and six crew members, the Russian news agency Interfax said.
The Antonov-148 aircraft disappeared from the radar shortly after takeoff from Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport and crashed soon afterward, Tass reported.
There is no definitive answer as to what caused the crash. The weather is bad in the area, as shown in the photos. Therefore, it could be weather related, or it could be pilot error or a malfunction, reports CNN. The plane was taking off, turned left, and then fell out of the sky.

New York Assemblyman Kieran Michael Lalor, a Republican representing Dutchess County, wants his constituents to know that the state’s lawmakers are currently “pushing to give free college tuition to illegal immigrants,” and warns that only “feckless Senate Republicans, whose string of capitulations to Democrats is too long to list, stand in their way.”
In an op-ed for the New York Post published Saturday, Lalor called out New York Assembly Democrats and Gov. Cuomo for putting illegal aliens ahead of taxpaying citizens.
In his piece, Lalor pointed out:
“Illegal immigrants already get taxpayer-subsidized in-state tuition. The so-called Dream Act proposal, which just passed the Assembly, would make illegal immigrants eligible for the New York State Tuition Assistance Program and the Excelsior Scholarship, known colloquially as Cuomo's free-college program.
In 2010, New York state decided it could no longer afford to give TAP to New Yorkers seeking a master's degree. Now, however, the governor and Assembly Democrats have determined that a bachelor's degree for illegal immigrants is a higher priority than a master's degree for a citizen. Despite a $4 billion shortfall, the governor's budget proposal includes millions for illegal immigrants to go to college on the taxpayer.
TAP and Excelsior don't cover fees, books or room and board. However, the Dream fund, a pot of privately donated money publicly subsidized through tax deductions, gives college assistance only to those who have at least one parent who is an immigrant. Thus an illegal immigrant can get free tuition plus expenses paid from a subsidized fund for which a student with two American parents isn't even eligible. This is a taxpayer-funded codification of discrimination against Americans.”
Lalor slams the mentality of propping up so-called Dreamers with free tuition with one question:
“If illegal immigrants are such an economic powerhouse, why can't they fund their own education?”
He also points to the fact that New Yorkers are fleeing the “sanctuary” state.
“A million New Yorkers have left our state since 2010. One-sixth of the 2018 legislative session is already on the books. We have done almost nothing to address the problems millions of citizens of New York are facing. But the Assembly voted a major benefit to people in the country illegally, and our governor is pushing for it in his budget.
Republicans hold a nominal majority in the state Senate. Still the MO of Senate Republicans is to pass more or less what the governor and Democrats want and then claim that it would have been much worse but for their strong stand.
On this issue, modestly diluting this legislation will not do. Senate Republicans can and must prevent all aspects of this legislation from becoming law.”

DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison was spied on camera applauding to the race-baiting rhetoric of far-left activist Linda Sarsour as she called America a hateful country founded on murder. A Muslim immigrant who has praised Sharia law, Sarsour famously called for jihad against Donald Trump last year.
Ellison was a guest speaker at a protest on Wednesday called, "A Day of Action Against Trump's White Supremacy".
He was onstage grinning as Sarsour spoke to the crowd, the Gateway Pundit reported on Thursday.
“I'm talking to Chuck Schumer who's also from Brooklyn. I'm tired of hearing a white man negotiating on the backs of people of color and communities like ours. But I also remember that I live in a country that was founded on the extermination of indigenous people. You have a fascist in the highest office of this land who is running ICE which has always been a rogue agency but now they're acting like a gestapo going and picking up people in the middle of the night…”
At the end of her speech the entire crowd started chanting. They all loved it.

All 71 people who were aboard a passenger plane that crashed just after taking off from a Moscow airport on Sunday are believed to have died, according to Russian media.
Russian news agency TASS cited an emergency services source as saying that all 65 passengers and six crew members were killed in the incident. The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry later told Reuters that two bodies had been found at the site of the plane crash, according to a report from NBC News.
A report in the Daily Mail said the Saratov Airlines flight, which was heading from Moscow to a city near the Kazakhstan border, “broke up in the sky” just moments after take-off.
Flight crew member Anastasia Slavinskaya, 29, was on the Antonov An-148 when it crashed near the village of Argunovo, south east of the capital. Second pilot Sergey Gambaryan, 34, has also been named as one of the dead.
A source from Russia’s emergency services said the 65 passengers and six crew members had “no chance” of survival.
Shocked witnesses reportedly saw a burning aircraft falling from the sky and wreckage was spread over a large snow-covered field.
Flightradar24 tweeted that the aircraft was descending at 22,000ft per minute and chilling video footage shows debris 25 miles from the airport.

A new requirement at the University of Wisconsin-Stout is designed to make sure that graduates "appreciate cultural, economic, political, environmental, and social differences."
The new "global perspectives" course is intended to supplement the Racial and Ethnic Studies requirement that all students must complete before graduating, according to a report from Campus Reform on Friday.
Approved by the Faculty Senate last March, required courses will teach that inequities are "the impact of globalized capitalism and neo-liberalism on economic systems," and train students to adjust their "worldview” by "knowing and valuing the histories, identities, and values of diverse others."
"Understanding global perspectives and how they are formed is not just a prerequisite for becoming a global citizen; it is necessary for becoming an engaged citizen of any local community," reads the preamble of the document approving the new mandate.
It further states that the new requirements play "a critical role in helping students develop an understanding of the deeply interconnected nature of the world."
According to the report:
In order to fulfill the requirement, students must complete at least six credits from a list of approved courses that address at least two out of four categories: Global Self-Awareness, Global Knowledge, Global Viewpoint, and Global Engagement.
"Global self-awareness" courses, for instance, focus on embracing the "values of diverse others," helping students to "develop appreciation for diverse voices and stories and the contributions of cultures and countries different from one's own."
The "global knowledge" goal, meanwhile, addresses "the deeply interconnected nature of the world," with courses exploring concepts like how "the impact of globalized capitalism and neoliberalism on economic systems, inter and intra-societal stratification, civil and human rights, and sustainability" form the "historical roots" of inequities around the world.
The "global viewpoint" category aims to introduce students to different cultural and historical perspectives, while the "global engagement" element teaches students to "take effective critical action" on the basis of their new knowledge by "contributing to positive change in globally diverse, interconnected, and interdependent natural, social, and business environments."

Below, I respond to some of the emails you sent me over the past 24-hours.
To send a message use the submit news tab.
DML: Protecting our police isn’t a matter of better body armor. It’s a tone. A national tone is set by its leader, and then the tone trickles down. The tone set by Obama was that the police are bad people. Although Trump attempted to reverse that tone by voicing his appreciation for the police, it didn’t work because the tone of the country as a whole remains divided. Trump is a combative personality who draws lines, “them vs us, right vs left.” He calls people names. Like this approach or not, it sets a tone of division. Thus, people love to love him, or people love to hate him. Tack on that most of the media can’t stand to say his name, and this sort of thing trickles down into communities. In essence, Trump says he loves the cops, therefore the thugs hate the cops more than they did under Obama.
I watched you for years on Fox. I watched you every night on Newsmax. I have watched you every day on Facebook. I have also watched Hannity, O’Reilly, Dobbs, and I always listen to Rush. I used to watch and listen to Beck. There is not one person in the news media who is more consistent than you. There is not one person in the news media more entertaining than you. There is not a person in the news media more passionate, brave, or loving than you.
Having watched you for as long as I have, and having friends who watch you because they learn so much about issues that other news media will not speak about or cover at length, you are a rare gem who should have been grabbed by a network to host a prime time slot. The fact that you have not been says so much about the news media and how biased they are. A few weeks ago you asked people on Facebook to write a comment about you getting a weekend TV show on Fox News. I don’t think you’d survive more than a month on Fox News. You would end up walking off the stage when they try censoring you on immigration.
What you shouldn’t be getting is the assault on your character like you are from people who claim to want the truth in news. As my husband would say, “Crazies come in all colors and sizes.” I have read some of the things people write about you now because you are pointing out the obvious about Trump’s presidency.
You have given so much to Trump over the past two years. It was you who dragged in many of the Independent voters, myself included, to vote for Trump. You asked for no credit, you received no credit, and yet you kept marching forward with your job. This doesn’t surprise me one bit. This is what makes DML who he is.
My husband died at 61. He didn’t drink. He didn’t smoke. He took decent care of himself. He just died on day. Life is short! That’s the lesson I took away from his passing. I miss him so much. It really hit me the other morning when you read the letter from the man Ken who lost his wife. I miss my husband. We used to watch you together. He didn’t always agree with you on everything. But he really liked your explanations and ability to argue a point with details and facts.
DML, I urge you to exit the news business and go do something else. Having watched you for as long as I have, I see you each day and there is a noticeable difference, especially in your appearance.
Not many years ago, you made an appearance on Fox and Friends soliciting one of your films. I think it was Ride to DC. You were dressed in a jacket and tie, and you had a glowing tan. When your segment was over I told my husband you were the most attractive man I had ever seen. He agreed.
Your handsomeness was not tied solely to your sharp jaw and thick hair. It was the sparkle in your eye and the strength of your voice when speaking about America and the American people. You sucked me in. I was in love with your words and how you delivered them to me on the other side of the TV. I felt like I could reach my hand out and touch your heart.
I have watched that sparkle fade. Although you have remained incredibly consistent and determined to get your message out to people like me, over the past few months you have lost the sparkle that makes you who you are. It’s not because you don’t love America like you once did. I think it’s because you realize there is nothing you can do to stop the nonsense taking place in Washington DC. Talk of amnesty from a man who swore he’d never do such a thing is weighing down your heart, so too is all the other promises unkept. I know it bothers you to discuss the ugliness of the Russia craziness because you see no upside in the matter. I have always known you to find the silver lining. I don’t believe you see any silver linings for us and it’s breaking you inside.
I have watched you gain weight and your eyes always look tired. You’ve tabled the humor that once made your program so much different than anything else out there. You never do walk and talks, and you’ve stopped incorporating your family and home into the program. I see that as your way from protecting them from the ugliness you are seeing unfold.
You don’t come out an say it, but I can tell you no longer trust Trump. I can tell you no longer want to spend energy on cheering for him. I think you are protecting yourself from being burned by him. I cannot say I blame you.
You always talk about your ability to see ahead and see how things will be in the end. I’m pretty decent at doing to same thing. I hate to say it but I don’t see you ever being rewarded in the way you deserve. It has nothing to do with fame or fortune. I don’t know how to explain it really. I wish I could put into words.
I wasn’t going to send this to you. Please don’t think I am some fanatic who worships your every word. I use your app but I also watch Fox and CNN for news. I don’t believe in the conspiracy nonsense…I don’t swear by Trump…I do not believe he can do no wrong. I think he is trying to make things better but I also think he is too concerned with his reputation and public approval. I have not personally felt any of the upsides of his presidency other than the pleasantry of not having to see Hillary be president.
I am a simple woman who lost her husband and spends most of her days trying to keep busy with little circle of friends and family. We do discuss you more often than you would think. We love Miss Mary and the family atmosphere you’re trying to create with Team DML. My friends agree with me when saying I don’t want to you to be unhappy in what you do.
You have way too much to offer the world, and way too much talent to have to deal with Facebook issues, Trump’s tweets, social media haters, and a lying media. I know you’ve worked hard to build your business. I don’t expect or want you to close the doors, but I hope you will consider what I have written. You need to change it up somehow because I care too much about you and the Lynch family. You need to do something else that offers more upside and a bigger megaphone. I don’t know what it is. I wish I did. I hope you will forgive me for writing this if I have insulted you. I don’t want to see you fade out. I want you to sparkle.
DML: I appreciate your letter, and I hope you don’t mind me cleaning it up some. I published it so that you know I received it. I can feel the concern and love that went into writing the letter. Please forgive me for not having a reply, but please know I’ve read it no less than 5 times.
DML: Stay safe out there. Good luck.

Muslim women are calling attention to the fact that even as they celebrate Islam with a visit to the holy site of Mecca, men will take advantage of them.
According to an anonymous woman quoted by StepFeed, “Sexual harassment at Hajj is most common in the queue leading to the Black Stone, at the eastern corner of the Kaaba."
Human rights activist Pamela Geller pointed out, “If Muslims performing the holiest and highest ritual of their faith will engage in this kind of behavior, who can be surprised that they commit mass rapes and sexual assaults as migrants among the kuffar women in Europe? And nothing will be done about this, since a woman's testimony about sexual matters is disallowed under Sharia.”
An article in the Dhaka Tribune published last week titled, "Women speak out on sexual harassment during Hajj,” illustrated the abuses through one woman’s story:
On Friday, February 2, Pakistani national Sabica Khan shared her terrifying ordeal at the holy pilgrimage, reports StepFeed.
"I was afraid to share this because it might hurt your religious sentiments," Sabica began.
She went on describe how when she felt the first instance of inappropriate touching, during her third tawaf, she dismissed it as accidental.
However, as the inappropriate touching continued, her suspicions grew and she soon realized she was being sexually harassed, according to StepFeed.
"Then… I felt it again. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I kept moving. During my 6th tawaf I suddenly felt something aggressively poking my butt. I froze, unsure of whether it was intentional. I ignored it and just kept moving slowly because the crowd was huge. I even tried to turn around but woefully couldn't. When I reached the Yemeni corner, someone tried to grab and pinch my butt. I decided to stop there, grabbed his hand and threw it off me," Sabica wrote in the Facebook post.
She added that the horrific experience overshadowed her entire experience at Mecca, with the feeling of powerlessness at not even being able to turn around and identify her harassers due to the dense crowds having left her petrified, StepFeed said.
"I believe it's totally okay and important to be open about harassment. I don't know how many of you had similar experiences, there but this incident has unfortunately left me feeling upset," Sabica concluded, as quoted by StepFeed.
A number of people have subsequently commented on her post, with many women sharing their own experiences of sexual harassment at the holy pilgrimage.
One commenter even said she had been facing sexual harassment at Hajj for over 28 years, and suggested Sabica should have been mentally prepared to face it.

A college Republican rally in Seattle turned violent on Saturday after more than 1,000 counter-protesters showed up to oppose the event.
Five people were reportedly arrested at the University of Washington after fights broke out, and at least one American flag was burned, in response to College Republicans having invited members of Patriot Prayer to speak in the university’s Red Square for a “freedom rally,” the Seattle Times reported.
According to College Republicans President Chevy Swanson, the purpose of the rally was to bring conservatives together and promote free-speech rights. During the event, supporters chanted “U-S-A!, U-S-A!” and carried signs, including one that read, “We died for liberty not socialism.”
"We're here to fight back against the far right and fascism on our campus," one counter-protester told reporters.
“I learned that they thought my vote was a hate crime," Trump supporter Kathryn Townsend told Seattle’s Q13 Fox.
As tensions ramped up and fights broke out, police responded with pepper spray. Those arrested were charged with disorderly conduct, according to University of Washington police.
Prior to the event, university officials were concerned about the potential for violence at the rally, and the school’s president had warned students to avoid the area.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) called out runaway federal spending days after he forced a short-lived government shutdown with a lengthy floor speech denouncing the budget deficit.
Speaking to radio host John Catsimatidis on New York radio station AM 970, Paul took aim at what he called “wasteful spending.”
Paul cited examples such as, “We spent $700,000 last year studying what Neil Armstrong said when he landed on the moon.”
“Remember, he said ‘one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.’ Well, some idiot in government took $700,000 of taxpayer money and wanted to know whether he said ‘one small step for man’ or ‘one small step for a man.’ So that’s the kind of stuff your government is spending money on,” Paul revealed.
The lawmaker also told Catsimatidis that he has been pushing for the Defense Department to be audited.
“Before we give them more money, make them account for the money they’re already spending,” he said.
According to The Hill:
Paul has long been considered one of the Senate’s fiercest budget hawks, and has turned his ire against his own party, at times, accusing Republicans of denouncing deficits under Democratic presidential administrations while embracing high spending under President Trump.
Paul forced a brief government shutdown early Friday morning, after he delayed a vote on a sweeping spending bill with a lengthy speech on the Senate floor. That bill, which included increases in both domestic and military spending, eventually passed hours later and was signed by Trump, ending the shutdown.

News that Mick Mulvaney, the acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, has put the agency's investigation into Equifax on ice has sparked renewed outrage among Democrats on Capitol Hill.
A Reuters report, which used anonymous sources, claimed on Sunday that Mulvaney “has pulled back from a full-scale probe of how Equifax Inc failed to protect the personal data of millions of consumers.”
Democrats are now suspicious that Republicans are delaying efforts to crack down on the credit reporting industry and secure consumer data in the wake of the massive Equifax data breach, which took place in September. The breach exposed the sensitive information, including Social Security numbers, of 145.5 million Americans.
According to The Hill:
A group of 32 Senate Democrats responded to the Reuters report by demanding answers from the agency about the progress of its investigation.
The CFPB declined to comment on their letter, instead pointing to an earlier statement from Mulvaney senior adviser John Czwartacki.
"Acting Director Mulvaney takes data security issues very seriously," Czwartacki said. "Under his direction, the CFPB is working with our partners across government on Equifax's data breach and response. We are committed to enforcing the law. As policy, we do not confirm or deny enforcement or supervisory matters."
Democrats have kept up the heat on Equifax and other credit reporting agencies in the wake of the hack, using the breach to call for reforms.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) also released a report this week on the breach, excoriating Equifax for a lack of safeguards and calling on Congress to crack down on credit reporting agencies.
Last month, Warren and Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) introduced legislation that would make it easier for the Federal Trade Commission to police credit bureaus' data security practices.
And in November, Democrats on the Senate Commerce Committee renewed their push for a law requiring companies to notify consumers of data breaches within 30 days of discovering them.
Former Equifax CEO Richard Smith faced four congressional hearings last October, with members of both parties furious about about a breach that had exposed sensitive personal data for nearly half the country.
Despite the outrage from lawmakers, though, there's been little movement in Congress towards cracking down on the industry or improving data security practices.

Former President Barack Obama and his former attorney general, Eric Holder, have teamed up in their efforts to unseat Republicans in 12 states through a national redistricting group.
According to its website, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC) is a D.C.-based organization founded in 2016. Chaired by Holder, the group is dedicated to “enacting a comprehensive, multi-cycle Democratic Party redistricting strategy.”
To that end, they raised more than $11 million last year. Their fundraising goal for this year is $30 million.
According to a report in The Washington Free Beacon, the group was formed “in part due to Obama’s resentment towards the House Republican majority during a portion of his presidency and claims that gerrymandering, which both parties partake in, has led to ‘disastrous’ policies.”
“These gerrymandered districts have had disastrous policy consequences, leading to some of the most right-wing legislation in decades both in Congress and at the state level, including assaults on women’s health, suppressing the vote for people of color, failing to address climate change, and refusing to stand up to the epidemic of gun violence,” the group’s website states. “These policies don’t reflect the majority of voters, but because Republicans have rigged the system in their favor, voters are limited in their ability to do anything about it.”
Holder said the group’s mission is personal to Obama because he resented how Republicans took over the majority in the House of Representatives and impaired his goals.
“The tasks that he had placed before him were made a lot more difficult, progress a lot more difficult, than it needed to be,” Holder told the New York Times last year. “That’s because of the Congress that he had to deal with, which was a function of the 2010 redistricting effort.”

For 90-seconds Trump talks about MS13, and how important it is to change the loopholes in our immigration system, but offers no solutions other than saying he wants to eliminate the visa lottery, stop chain migration, and secure the border.
Meanwhile, the flow of drugs and people coming across the border illegally is picking up at an alarming rate, mostly because the cartels and illegal aliens aren’t taking Trump seriously as he continued to tout amnesty for 1.8M illegal alien Dreamers.
Furthermore, as explained by former ICE agent Michael Cutler earlier this week during his appearance on the ‘The Truth’, there is no way the government will be able to conduct true background checks — meaning, the millions of illegals will be rubber stamped approved.
Trump tweeted on Saturday evening the following: “My Administration has identified three major priorities for creating a safe, modern and lawful immigration system: fully securing the border, ending chain migration, and canceling the visa lottery. Congress must secure the immigration system and protect Americans.”
I responded with the following message: “Ur plan = illegals here keep taking jobs. U warn of MS13, yet u’ll b rubber stamping 2M Dreamers into citizenship. ICE & BP hate ur plan. Only Ivanka & illegals luv ur plan. Obamacare remains, Iran deal alive, Vets dying at VA, amnesty…Checkmate, U win,We lose.Obama’s 3rd term.”
Earlier this evening, we reported about a DACA recipient who is currently on the run, wanted for allegedly killing a store owner in Texas. The DACA Dreamer passed the government screening process, according to Breitbart News.

Team DML member Bettyann Senf alerted us of this story of a DACA recipient who is on the run for allegedly murdering an American citizen.
FROM BREITBART: An investigation by ABC13's Jessica Willey reports that accused killer Judas Deluna, 21, is an illegal alien who is currently under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) amnesty program.
The "Dreamer" is currently on the run after allegedly killing a Texas store owner and shooting another man.
What’s disturbing, is that under the DACA program, the federal government is supposed to conduct a criminal background investigation prior to adjusting the immigrant's the DACA status. But as DML viewers learned from former ICE agent Michael Cutler last week when he appeared on ‘The Truth,’ the government doesn’t do real background checks. “In many cases there is no face to face interview,” said Cutler. “It’s all done over the computer.”
Deluna may have obtained the DACA protection despite a prior history of felony arrests and convictions.
Court records obtained by Breitbart Texas from Harris County District Clerk Chris Daniel's office show that Deluna received a felony conviction for a terroristic threat made in 2015. The judge of the 176th Criminal District Court sentenced the man to 60 days in county jail. He had also been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. That charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
“I want to know who this judge is because he needs to lose his ability to sit on the bench, “ said Dennis Michael Lynch.
Breitbart reports that earlier in 2015, prosecutors charged Deluna with a felony charge of evading arrest with a motor vehicle. The same judge placed the man on four years of probation and deferred adjudication. Following the new murder charge, prosecutors filed a motion to adjudicate this charge.
The current murder charges stem from a shooting that occurred outside DJ's Food Mart in northwest Harris County in January, Willey reported. It is believed that Deluna got into a fight with another man. He fled to his vehicle where he reportedly pulled a gun and shot the man he was fighting with. When store owner's son, Rahman Rupani, responded to the shooting, Deluna allegedly shot him as well. Rupani died from his wounds.
Deluna fled the scene in a Black Lincoln Navigator, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Breitbart Texas.

My inbox is flooded with people cheering that “Trump is finally listening to us” about immigration and DACA. With the email, they attach a link that leads to a “survey on immigration.”
When you arrive at the survey a picture of Trump is at the top of the page. Scroll down and it provides an area for your name, email address and cell phone number. It then asks 11 questions about immigration, including one about building the wall, and another question about providing a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers.
Trump did not send out this survey, and I would be willing to guarantee that not only does he not know about the survey, but he doesn’t care about the results, nor will he see them.
At the end of the survey is a DONATION option. If you look at the small print, the survey is not sent by the Trump administration, Trump, or the White House. It is sent from the Trump for President campaign team and the RNC.
It’s simply a creative way to (A) get your email address and cell phone, (B) raise money, and (C) to make you think the administration is using the information to help form policy.
Trump tweeted about DACA again on Saturday. He is dead set on getting a deal done that provides a pathway to citizenship. Your survey questions are not being used to determine policy. I’m sorry to tell you this.
There are companies who specialize in establishing and running these sort of donation campaigns. They are highly effective. Below is the small print which you can see for yourself if you know where to look.

LONDON — The violence that has overcome the streets of London is totally out of control, and immigration is a key reason.
A Somali national has been jailed after he held a sharp piece of wood to a teenage girl's throat as he raped her.
Ahmed Abdoule said the girl could not be a virgin "because she was white", and told her "my country would love you" following the attack, was given an 11-year sentence at Hull Crown Court the Hull Daily Mail reports.
According to Breitbart News, reports have not indicated how long Abdoule will actually spend in prison and the court has not responded to a request for information, but if the sentence follows the standard formula he will likely be released after roughly 5 years.
Despite his racial contempt for the victim, the Abdoule's crime does not appear to have been treated as racially aggravated, which could have meant a tougher sentence.
It is also not clear whether the government will seek to deport him. It has previously proved impossible to deport criminal migrants with large families due to judges' interpretation of the European 'right to respect for private and family life'.
The Somali told the girl there will be others like her to pay the price. He also told her he would kill her if she told anyone what had happened.

Roy Beck leads an immigration organization called NumbersUSA. Like Cutler, he is one of the smartest minds in the immigration debate. His firm believes in an overall reduction of immigration. Like Cutler, he is an encyclopedia of knowledge and has played an instrumental role in stopping numerous amnesties from happening.
Beck and Cutler have something else in common. You’ll never see them on Fox News. Both used to be regulars, but not any more. That’s because Fox News top executives favor amnesty.
Today, instead of booking Cutler or Beck to appear on a segment about immigration, they manipulated the Fox News audience by booking an illegal alien to come on air and talk about “Trump’s leadership” when it comes to DACA.
FROM FOX NEWS: A Mexican native whose mother brought him to America at age 1 said President Trump has shown “leadership and compassion” toward DACA recipients like himself, while Democrats have conversely used them as “pawns.”
Hilario Yanez, who goes by Eli, said Trump showed courage to tackle the illegal immigration issue comprehensively during his first year in office.
“Here’s a guy who wants to provide a pathway to citizenship for myself and really make a difference in my life,” he said, adding that if the president believes a border wall is necessary for national security, then he would support it.
You can watch the video of “Eli” below. And then you can watch the full hour of Michael Cutler explaining why it would be an absolute disaster to national security and the job market to grant DACA recipients a pathway to citizenship.
