Sneak Peek new footage, plus images from the dramatic spy series "The Americans" - Season 6, set during the 1980's, starring Keri Russell ('Elizabeth Jennings') and Matthew Rhys ('Philip Jennings'), as two Soviet KGB officers posing as an American married couple living in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.:

"This is what 'Elizabeth' has wanted for a long time," said series executive producer Joe Weisberg. "She's getting to bring her kid 'Paige' (Holly Taylor) along and go out and work with her sometimes and do things with her. She sometimes makes mistakes and that's a little worrisome, but other times Paige really does well and is successful and that feels great.

"Paige, as an American citizen, has a solid identity, so there's no point in training Paige to do honey traps or commit murder. Elizabeth's long game is to have her join the 'CIA' or the ''State Department or the upper echelons of the military. Who knows?"

Live-Action "Lobo"

Posted: 08 Feb 2018 06:27 PM PST

"Transformers" director Michael Bay is in negotiations to direct a live-action feature, adapting DC Comics' comedic, super-powered, inter-stellar mercenary character "Lobo":

Created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen, the alien Lobo first appeared in DC Comics' "Omega Men" #3 (June 1983), working as a bounty hunter.

"I have no idea why 'Lobo' took off,"
co-creator Giffen said. "I came up with him as an indictment of the 'Punisher', 'Wolverine', hero prototype and somehow he caught on as a poster boy..."

Initially introduced as a villain, the character evolved into an anti-hero biker and over-the-top parody of various superheroes.

Lobo has extraordinary strength of undefined limits, possessing superhuman durability, able to survive unprotected in deep space and withstand powerful explosive blasts without sustaining injury. An ac
celerated healing factor enables him to regenerate with efficiency and little pain, as he is functionally immortal, immune to the effects of aging.

Lobo also has a developed sense of smell, allowing him to track objects between solar systems, as well as a separate tracking ability enabling him to track an individual across galactic distances.

"Wonder Woman 2" - Enter 'Circe'

Posted: 08 Feb 2018 07:56 AM PST

According to reports, one of the main female villains in the developing sequel "Wonder Woman 2" (aka "Magic Hour") , will be 'Circe', a 'sorceress' that debuted in "Wonder Woman" #37 (1949), created by writer Robert Kanigher and illustrator Harry G. Peter:

In the original DC Comics continuity, Circe is a centuries-old enchantress kept young by the elixir 'vitae'.

Gaining magical powers on the island 'Aeaea', she becomes skilled at turning men into animals resembling their personalities (ie. pigs) ...

...and for these crimes against humanity 'Hippolyta' banishes her to 'Sorca', an island planet in space "...where she can do no harm."

When she manages to return to Earth, Circe tries to destroy Wonder Woman, because an oracle said "...the daughter of Hippolyta will be her undoing."

Despite various comic book interpretations over the years, Circe's key features include immortality, physical beauty, a command over sorcery and a delight in humiliating her foes.
