PHOTOS: BILLY GRAHAM’S BODY WAS MOVED FROM HIS MOUNTAIN CHAPEL TO HIS LIBRARY IN NORTH CAROLINA

Posted: 24 Feb 2018 05:34 PM PST

Admirers line streets, overpasses to see Graham's...

Freeway motorists pulled aside to watch the Rev. Billy Graham’s motorcade as the religious leader’s body moved across his home state of North Carolina on Saturday.

Well-wishers came to the mountain chapel at the training center operated by his evangelistic association in Asheville after he died Wednesday at his North Carolina home at age 99.

The procession from Asheville to the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte began about 11 am with a ceremonial departure from The Cove, a mountain chapel at the training center operated by his evangelistic association.

The motorcade of eight SUVs and eight North Carolina State Highway Patrol vehicles proceeded under overcast skies.

Billy Graham, 92, speaks during an interview in December 2010 at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The path goes through the town of Black Mountain and along Interstate 40 for about 130 miles where Graham often shopped or caught trains next to the community of Montreat where he maintained his home.

Authorities in North Carolina’s largest city, where Graham grew up, were ready with designated viewing areas.

The procession is part of more than a week of mourning for “America’s Pastor,” culminating with his burial next week at his library in Charlotte.

Graham reached hundreds of millions of listeners around the world with his rallies and his pioneering use of television.

A viewing will be held at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte on Monday and Tuesday.

Graham will also lie in honor in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda next week, on Feb. 28 and March 1, the first time a private citizen has been accorded such recognition since civil rights hero Rosa Parks in 2005.

He will be laid to rest March 2 at the foot of a cross-shaped walkway at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, buried in a simple prison-made plywood coffin next to his wife, Ruth, who died in 2007.

DEMS REBUTTAL FISA MEMO: TRUMP CALLS IT A ‘BUST’; PROOF OF HILLARY-RUSSIA COLLUSION, SAYS NUNES

Trump dismisses Dems' rebuttal to GOP surveillance memo as 'total political and legal bust'

( Fox News ) President Trump on Saturday dismissed a Democratic rebuttal to the GOP memo outlining government surveillance abuses in the 2016 campaign as a "total political and legal bust,” claiming that it only confirms the "terrible things" that were done by the nation's intelligence agencies.

The rebuttal, written by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee, concluded that officials at the FBI and Justice Department "did not abuse the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) process, omit material information or subvert this vital tool to spy on the Trump campaign."

Democrats sought to counter claims made in a Republican memo released this month that the FBI and DOJ relied on a Democrat-funded anti-Trump dossier to ask the FISA court for a warrant to monitor Trump adviser Carter Page. Democrats have claimed that the Republican memo leaves out important information.

But Trump was unimpressed by the 10-page memo.

Breitbart News asked Nunes whether or not anything in what's been made public points to collusion with the Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign.

"We've only seen collusion between the Democratic Party, the Hillary campaign, and the Russians," Nunes said.

"We have no evidence of the Trump campaign colluded with Russia," he added.

EVIL! JEREMIAH VALENCIA, 13, RAPED, BURNED AND BEATEN TO DEATH – MOTHER AND HER BOYFRIEND, THOMAS FERGUSON, ARRESTED

Posted: 24 Feb 2018 04:27 PM PST

Another case of a single mother who would rather watch her child being abused and murdered rather than leave her evil boyfriend.

  • Jeremiah Valencia who was found dead in January was forced to live in a dog kennel without food before he was beaten to death by his mother’s boyfriend, authorities say
  • His body was discovered buried in a plastic roadside storage bin
  • Police believe Valencia was punched several times in the face and stomach by his mother’s boyfriend, Thomas Ferguson, before he died in November
  • Ferguson, Valencia’s mother Tracy Pena and Ferguson’s son Jordan Nunez were arrested and charged with the teen’s murder and are being held without bond

( Daily Mail ) A teenage boy who was found buried in a grave on the side of the road near his home in New Mexico had been raped  and burned before being beaten to death.

The body of 13-year-old Jeremiah Valencia was discovered in January buried along New Mexico State Road 503 near Nambe, two months after he was allegedly beaten to death by his mother’s boyfriend, Thomas Ferguson.

But new details have come to light that suggest the teenager was actually  sexually assaulted and burned. The child was also forced to live in dog kennel which was used to hold him as he was being abused, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department said.

Family members have told deputies that Ferguson kept Jeremiah inside the kennel as punishment, often making him sleep there and forcing him to wear adult diapers.

New court documents suggest Jeremiah’s body had lacerations consistent with sexual assault and that portions of his body ‘had possibly been burned.’

Police believe Valencia was fatally beaten by his mother's boyfriend, Thomas Ferguson, around Thanksgiving at their Nambe, New Mexico home. He had been forced to live in a kennel

Detectives obtained permission from a judge to search for evidence which corroborated the findings. An autopsy found Jeremiah was buried in a diaper.

Ferguson, 42; the boy’s mother Tracy Pena, 35; and Ferguson’s 19-year-old son Jordan Nunez were arrested at the start of February and charged with abuse of a child resulting in death, tampering with evidence, and conspiracy to commit tampering with evidence.

They are being held without bond.

Blood ‘not visible to the naked eye’ was discovered inside Ferguson’s bedroom, as well as Jeremiah’s bedroom, when police used a special light to search his room.

Meanwhile, his sister told investigators that Nuñez and Ferguson washed Jeremiah’s body in the tub ‘to clean the blood off him’ before placing him in his bedroom, where Peña has said she found him dead, wrapped in a blanket.
