London: Chelsea booked an FA Cup final showdown with Manchester United as Olivier Giroud tormented Southampton again with a sublime strike in Sunday's 2-0 win at Wembley.
Giroud has made a habit of scoring against Southampton and the France forward was their nemesis in a one-sided semifinal.
Opting to select Giroud instead of Alvaro Morata proved a shrewd move by Chelsea manager Antonio Conte as the former Arsenal star produced a tremendous piece of skill to break the deadlock early in the second half.

Banglaore: Many years ago, in an interview, Sir Vivian Richards told this columnist that it was nearly impossible to separate the personal from the political. For people like him who were in their teens when the Civil Rights movement was at its peak in the US and Dr. Martin Luther King spoke of having a dream, cricket was never about runs, wickets and catches alone. The line that sticks in my mind to this day is: "It was all about getting respect."

London: Arsene Wenger saw Arsenal claim a 4-1 victory over West Ham on Sunday in his first game since announcing his 22-year managerial reign will finish at the end of the season.
That Arsenal remain sixth in the Premier League is why support for Wenger has drained among the north London club's fan base.
When Wenger stepped onto the pitch before kickoff there was no acknowledgment of the 68-year-old Frenchman from the stadium announcer. And fans only chanted about the only manager of the club many have ever known in response to taunts from West Ham supporters.
