2008–2013: PG Era
In the Summer of 2008, WWE began distancing itself from the edgier content of years past, going with a more conservative approach. While no true start date is given, the July 22, 2008 episode of SmackDown was the first show that would use a PG television rating as opposed to using a PG DVL rating. While fans would dub this the "PG Era" early on, references from wrestlers themselves would come later such as Triple H in his "Thy Kingdom Come" documentary and Natalya on an episode of "Table for 3". In 2009, WWE debuted a Raw guest host concept, initially with Donald Trump (in storyline a one-night only kayfabe owner of Raw), in which various celebrities, athletes or past wrestlers made weekly appearances and were incorporated to the shows and stories until 2010. On January 4, 2010, Bret Hart returned to a WWE ring after a thirteen-year absence, where he reconciled with Shawn Michaels on screen. At XXVI, Michaels retired following a loss to The Undertaker. Another top performer Edge also retired a year later. Also in 2010, Bret Hart served briefly as the Raw general manager before being replaced by the Anonymous Raw General Manager. Also in 2009 D-Generation X reunited and would feud with The Legacy, which ended with D-Generation X defeating them in a Hell in a Cell match. After Bryan lost a WWE Championship Hell in a Cell match against Orton and started a feud with The Wyatt Family, on several occasions, such as during the 2013 Slammy Awards, fans have successfully hijacked segments in which Bryan was either not involved in, or involved only secondarily, with his "Yes!" chant. Horse archers were eventually rendered obsolete by the maturity of firearm technology. In the 16th and subsequent centuries, various cavalry forces armed with firearms gradually started appearing. Because the conventional arquebus and musket were too awkward for a cavalryman to use, lighter weapons such as the carbine had to be developed, that could be effectively used from horseback, much in the same manner as the composite recurve bow presumably developed from earlier bows. 16th-century Dragoons and Carabiniers were heavier cavalry equipped only with firearms, but pistols coexisted with the composite bow, often used by the same rider, well into the 17th century in Eastern European cavalry such as Muscovites, Kalmyks, Turks and Cossacks. For many armies, mounted archery remained an effective tactical system in open country until the introduction of repeating firearms.

Kofola originated in the Czechoslovak Research Institute of Medicinal Plants in Prague now Czech Republic in 1959, during research targeted at finding a possible use for surplus caffeine produced in the process of coffee roasting. The resulting dark-coloured, sweet-and-sour syrup Kofo became the main ingredient of a new soft drink named Kofola introduced in 1960. During the 1960s and 1970s Kofola became exceedingly popular in communist Czechoslovakia because it substituted for Western cola-based drinks like Coca-Cola or Pepsi, which were not generally available. Even today, Kofola is a popular option in restaurants as Pepsi and Coca-Cola are more expensive to supply.

Since 1998 Kofola has been bottled (in addition to classical 0.33-litre glass bottles) in 0.5-litre and 2-litre plastic bottles. 0.25-litre cans were introduced in 2003, 1-litre plastic-bottles in December 2004. Kofola draught from 50-litre kegs, traditionally sold in many bars and restaurants across the two countries, is very popular as well.

David a Johnstone Castle local came up through the ranks playing in small friendly tornys in the old A B park. He was more often than not a finalist and won a record 25 world cuppys and a record equalling 9 games of doubles. He had many doubles partners over the years but his main stay and quadruple winning partner was the Peter Crouch look-a-like from the Gorman clan Mark. David took part in the 1 off Johnstone Castle 5aside tournament arranged by the local mob and his team reached the finals unfortunately they were beating in xtra time in a match that will remain in the memory of the locals for years to come. Local shop keeper Javade (big Jav) said and i quote "wis a good game innit". The loss in that final seamed to only spur a young Mckenna on and he soon signed with Celtic Ladies FCBC but after only 1 season realized his error and joined the boys team. He was well know up the tap end and had a few run ins with the locals many feal jealousy played a part. 2 key battles spring to mind. A mind 1 time he went heah to head with the Coltontaker of the maple drive divison of the then WWF now WWE Mckenna and the Taker got into a heated arguement over a game of Bys Cathes and Overs when Mckenna stated that Taker had choose bys n catches and when he struck the ball over he was clearly "not in". A short argument later Mckenna tactful and cunning as a fox kicked Takers ball under a car when the Taker went to retrieve his mould master 3000 Mckenna pounced like an ally cat and jumped on the Coltentakers head. Not big on taken a hit Mckenna was gawn by the time the taker even new what hit him. The 2nd run in with a local mobster took place in a close. This time Mckenna came face to face with his oppent and an argument regarding a young castle lass was what pushed these warrior's to blows. Theres no tellin what could have happened that night but in the end Mckenna was in a headlock for about 15 minutes and no 1 was seriously hurt.
