'''Antoine Victor Lami''' (born January 17, 1997), or simply known as''' Antoine Lami '''by friends, is an Albanian writer, singer-songwriter, director, producer and photographer.

Lami started writing at the age of 15 and he singed his first publishing contract at the age of 16 with "Morava Publications" in 2013, releasing his first book '''"You, Me And Charlie: The Novel"''' in January 2015. Also at the age age of 15, Lami started writing and composing songs and he singed his first recording contract at the age of 16 with "Blue2Digital", under an exclusive license, releasing his first album '''"You, Me And Charlie: The Soundtrack"''' in January 2015. Also in January 2015, a short film titled '''"You, Me And Charlie: The Film"''', directed and produced by Lami will be released. Lami made his debut in 2013 and he has been praised by the critics as a truly complete artist with an unique style of seeing and understanding things, which just changes the rules, all sizes, all shapes, it just works.

== Early life ==

Lami was born in Vlore, Albania and in June 2007 he moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where he lived there for four months, and then to come back to live in Albania again. He is the son and the youngest child of Raimonda, a math teacher, and Victor A. Lami, a french teacher. He has an older brother, Alphonse and an oldest sister, Aurora. Lami's father's family is originally from France, and their original surname, L'ami, was altered by that time officials. Both of him parents were born to a Christian Orthodox family.

Lami attended "24 May Primary School" and attends "NR.1 High School", and he is awaiting for his graduation coming next year. He has been involved in the producing of a short film and a documentary in his first year of high school. Lami says that he has been dancing since the age of three, focusing mainly on ballet and hip-hop, and fell in love with musical theater as a child, often performing in local and school productions. In an interview for "Albanian: The Independent Daily", he says that he was not "popular" in the stereotypical sense in high school, though he had many friends from different cliques around the school.

== Career ==

* '''Writing:'''

Lami started writing at the age of 15 and he singed his first publishing contract at the age of 16 with "Morava Publications" in 2013, releasing his first book '''"You, Me And Charlie: The Novel"''' in January 2015.

'''Recording to the book, Lami says:''' I guess I have never really felt like a Antoine. I suppose that is because my friends and family all call me Tonio, all those special nicknames that only your loved ones could possibly coin. I didn't realize it at first, but it seems as if I had taken a liking to the name Charlie for longer than I can remember! Upon looking back at old school papers, stories I wrote, screenplays, you name it, I have always used the name Charlie as one of the main or ancillary characters.

* '''Singing, Songwriting:'''

Also at the age age of 15, Lami started writing and composing songs and he singed his first recording contract at the age of 16 with "Blue2Digital", under an exclusive license, releasing his first album '''"You, Me And Charlie: The Soundtrack"''' in January 2015.

'''Recording to the album, Lami says: '''I've learnt so much on this journey, and I'm thrilled to present you the result of all my efforts. Throughout the whole process of working on it, I tried to maintain a certain "circle mindset". All the songs tell stories that now remain in the past. It's a melancholy reminiscence to those both beautiful & dark memories. The track "Will The Circle Be Unbroken", really sums up all the songs in such a genuine way,

* '''Directing, Producing:'''

Also in January 2015, a short film titled '''"You, Me And Charlie: The Film"''', directed and produced by Lami will be released.

'''Recording to the film, Lami says: '''The short film is a journey about love, transformation and eternity. It is powerful. It is stunning and emotionally riveting.  It is a very moving film.

* '''Music videos:'''

All the music videos are directed by Lami himself. A music video for his newest single, "I Will Follow You Into The Dark", is set to be premiered on his VEVO channel on January 2014.

== Personal life ==

* '''Activism: '''

Lami is a volunteer, and has supported animals rights organizations and marriage equality rights organizations too.

* '''Pubic image:'''

Lami made his public debut in an interview for "Albanian: The Independent Daily" and singing live a cover of Del Rey's "Ride" on "Top Albania Radio" on December 2013.

Harleigh Jackson, age 17, is a boy who was born like another, but his story is truly amazing. When Harleigh was only 16 he decided to man-up and join the British army. just two weeks after signing up he was sent to the front line to fight the bad guys. things went swimmingly for about 12 days.. then on the 13th day Harleigh decided it was a good idea to run into no mans land... this did not end well for him. He ran forward, approaching the enemies, but before he could get within 100 metres of them he was blown up by a bomb. This did not mean that Harleigh lost his life but only his legs. he was a vegetable for 5 months in hospital with his family by his bedside. he didn't go to war again.
