Cardi B is talented and beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, that fans don't mind learning the position in which she got knocked up.
But though she's known for her carefully manicured looks, she's showing fans another side of her that few have seen.
Take at look below at her make-up free, natural haired selfie. She's gorgeous.
Though she had appeared in the past on Love & Hip-Hop: New York, Cardi B was catapulted to becoming a household name with her hit single, "Bodak Yellow."
After being entranced by her music -- the lyrics, the hook, everything -- a lot of people were drawn in by her looks.
Cardi B is hot. She just is. You can tell from the photos.
When someone's looks are tied to their brand, as is so often the case, they seldom let people see them with their guard down.
Like a growing number of celebrities, Cardi B plays by a different set of rules.
Take a look at her makeup-free look and her big, natural hair.
She looks great!
She looks different, but certainly not unrecognizable, which means that she's doing right by herself when she does her makeup.
Cardi B captioned this photo:
"Knock me down 9 times but i get up 10 bitch!"
From the flow, that actually sounds like it would be a perfect lyric for "Bodak Yellow."
But the line is actually from another song of hers, "Get Up 10."
(Logistically, one assumes that Cardi B got up once before any of the nine knockdowns occurred, which would explain in the discrepency between how many times she is knocked down and how many times she arises)
Showing herself with her natural hair -- well, straightened to some degree, but mostly natural -- is actually a big deal, in a way that sharing a makeup-free snap is not.
Because women of color living in the Western world have had their appearances critiqued and controlled for centuries, forced by white supremacy to conform to European beauty standards.
Cardi B may play that game with her public appearance, but this photo is a powerful and important reminder that she has a lot of hair, and that she has to put in a great deal of work to make it appear as it does in public.
(When she isn't wearing a wig, that is)
Recently, Cardi B announced her pregnancy.
She is pregnant by her fiance, Offset.
Initially, many of her fans grew concerned when she became engaged so quickly after skyrocketing to fame.
They wondered if Offset was hitching himself to her before it really hit home for her what an incredible future her career has in store.
(Doubts were magnified when a woman came forward claiming to be Offset's baby mama ... and Offset's refusal to take a paternity test)
Many of those concerns have vanished as fans are enthusiastic for Cardi B to become a mom.
Cardi B's selfie is inspirational and we're so glad that she elected to share it.
That does not mean that we don't like any of her other looks.
Like all women, and also all other folks, she is entitled to be the author of her own appearance. That means that she can wear as much or as little makeup as she likes.
So long as she keeps churning out excellent music, we'll keep listening.
Speaking of which, if you'll excuse us, we need to listen to "Bodak Yellow" one or ten times.

Kim Kardashian is putting on a brave face in public.
She's saying all the right things about Kanye West.
According to Life & Style, however, the reality star is not handling her husband's apparent breakdown very well.
Far from it, in fact.
With Kanye blabbering on about Donald Trump and slavery and angering nearly everyone with a rational view of the world, Kardashian is reportedly weighing her options.
Could she really file for divorce from the father of her three kids?
Scroll down for a summary of the latest speculation...

Jill Duggar is generally not one to make waves.
The second-eldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Jill has spent the majority of her life meeting the demands of her ludicrously strict upbringing.
On the reality shows that made her family famous, Jill quickly emerged as a fan favorite, modest enough to appeal to the fundamentalist segment of the Duggars' fan base, but independent enough to give hope to those who watch in ... that she and her sisters will one day break away.
When Jill married Derick Dillard in 2014, however, her public image took a turn for the worse.
Brash and abrasive where Jill was meek and kind, Derick quickly became a divisive figure amongst Duggar fans.
Last year, Derick was fired from Counting On after making comments about fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings that many considered transphobic.
Jill quit the show in a gesture of solidarity, thus leaving her young family with no source of income.
These days, Jill has a lot of time on her hands, and she often uses it to post on social media, despite the fact that her content frequently disturbs fan.
This week Jill posted a list of prayers for her children that many took as evidence of bigotry.
The items on the list were mostly innocuous concerns, such as "Their salvation," "That they would be kept morally pure," "That they would love each other."
But the last prayer struck a nerve with fans, many of whom considered it further evidence of Jill's transphobia.
The response from Instagram users was swift and harsh, with some accusing Jill of rank hypocrisy:
"But it's ok to be a homophobic, cheating molester who is literally making money from having their family on a reality show," wrote one fan.
The comments seem to refer to both Josh Duggar - who molested five young girls while living under his parents' roof - and Derick Dillard, whose homophobia has been well-documented over the years.
Now, Jill is criticized on social media quite regularly, with followers taking issue with everything from her parenting to her wardrobe.
But this time is different in that Jill actually replied:
"I have never said those actions were ok."
That may seem like a very mild response, but as many have pointed out, it constitutes the first time that Jill has expressed any misgivings about the behavior or beliefs of her brother and husband.
Perhaps this is the beginning of a new day for Jill.
Maybe she'll finally join the rest of the world in calling out the male members of her family for their more problematic actions.
What seems more likely, however, is that Jill has simply grown tired of being lumped in with men like Derick and Josh.
Some feel that she's complicit with their behavior, while others see Jill as a victim.
Whatever the case, she's clearly fed up with being associated with the more shameful aspects of her family history.

Earlier this week, Blake Lively unfollowed Ryan Reynolds, and it was no accident.
A lot of fans immediately feared the worst for this gorgeous married couple.
Now, Ryan is speaking up ... in true Ryan Reynolds fashion.
In an interview with Australian radio show Smallzy Surgery (it's Australian and a radio show, so of course that's its name), Ryan acknowledged that, yes, his wife did unfollow him.
"Yes, she did. I'm very sad about that."
He goes on to share how it feels.
"Definitely stinks. It's a terrible way to find out that I've been kicked out of the house, to be honest."
As you may have gathered, this response is all tongue-in-cheek, as we'll explain in a moment.
"Absolutely terrible. I don't know where rage like that comes from."
He even suggests what it would be like to explain this situation to their child.
"Mommy unfollowed Daddy on Instagram. My child would just fart and then walk away."
There's a reason that he's in such good humor about this.
Because the unfollowing was nothing personal.
As we mentioned when Blake so famously unfollowed him, she also unfollowed almost everyone. And no, she's not doing an Instagram purge.
It's a stunt.
Blake Lively is currently following only 38 accounts on all of Instagram, and each belongs to a woman named Emily Nelson.
Blake Lively is starring as a woman named Emily Nelson in the upcoming film, A Simple Favor.
In the film, Emily goes missing suddenly, leaving a mommy blogger (played by Anna Kendrick) who describes herself as Emily's best friend guessing about what happened.
This is the sort of film with mystery, twists and turns, and even the appearance of a dead body at some point during the film.
Throughout, Anna Kendrick's character comes to admit that she did not know Emily as well as she thought that she did.
The teaser trailer dropped on Wednesday, so Blake's stunt's timing was not a coincidence.
At present, that teaser trailer is the only post on her Instagram page.
Ryan Reynolds is playing along with the "unfollowed" because he's goofy and lovable.
It also brings more attention to his wife's project.
Of course, it just so happens that Ryan has a new movie of his own coming out soon.
Deadpool 2, the much-anticipated sequel of the spectacular first film, follows the fourth wall-shattering adventures of an unkillable pansexual anti-hero named Deadpool.
Marvel and DC have long parodied and copied each other in comics, but Deadpool (originally intended as Marvel's answer to the DC villain, Deathstroke) has become a truly unique character with a dedicated fanbase.
And Ryan's own sense of humor meshes extremely well with the character.
We suppose that one of the greatest things about two young, stunning actors being married is that they can support each other's projects.
Supporting each other is one thing, but using long-standing divorce rumors to promote a film is taking an extra step.
While Ryan's film is more anticipated and is likely to draw a larger audience, many are intrigued by Blake's movie.
And you have to admit that this is a great marketing strategy.
After all, how many people might never have even heard about this film, let alone researched it, had it not been for this marketing ploy?
It's always nice to see social media marketing done well.
And, of course, to see a cooperative husband support his wife's work.

Over the past few days, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley have been engaged in an especially ugly fight.
The social media back-and-forth has been notable for the Jersey Shore star referring to his girlfriend as a "hoe" and "cum dumpster," and for Harley shooting back that Ronnie is a cheater and a "coke head."
But it's been especially brutal for the following reason:
Harley gave birth to a daughter named Ariana Sky back on April 3...
... of THIS YEAR!
Yes, Ortiz-Magro and Harley are parents to a baby girl, although this blessed event in their lives apparently had no effect on how they act about each other or feel about each other.
The stars have split, multiple sources say, with each side accusing the other of infidelity.
Thankfully, they are "are speaking civilly and trying to make sure Ariana has the best life possible," an insider tells People Magazine, just one day after Harley unveiled the first photo of this precious little girl.
And here it is!
"Baby girl is 1 month old today!" wrote Harley as a caption to this image, adding in emotional detail:
"Having a daughter is such an amazing feeling , changes your whole out look on life and how you want to be as a person , I love this girl more than anything and just want to be the best mom I can be to her."
Harley included these hashtags with the words above: #mylovemylifemyeverything #mamasgirl #angelbaby #1monthold #arianasky.
With Ronnie having moved out and with the couple at each other's throats these days, it's unclear how the two will go about co-parenting.
It's unclear if Ronnie even cares to be a parent.
The impression he's given for years is that he just wants to lift weights, drink and sleep with many women.
"They are going to have to work out the visitation stuff once the dust settles," People Magazine also writes, claiming that Ronnie's "heart" really is with his daughter.
He has a funny way of showing it, of course, considering Ronnie WENT OFF on Ariana's mother after discovering she still has a sex tape that she made with an ex.
The Jersey Shore star was far from pleased when he discovered this video exists, leaving the following note on Instagram:
A short while later, Ronnie shared an exchange he had with a friend who alleged that he slept with Harley on a "taco float" many months ago.
This friend told Ronnie to walk away from Harley because she's dishonest and she sucks.
Harley didn't deny this charge; she just hurled it right back at Ronnie, who was basically caught cheating on Jen in front of MTV cameras last week.
There's a lot of ugliness to digest here.
While we all shake our heads and feel badly for Ariana, relive the viral Ronnie-Jen break-up below:

It's been a crazy week for the Eason clan, huh?
Or a crazy year, honestly --2018 has been mighty eventful for them so far.
Technically, things have been crazy for them ever since they first got together, as is tradition when Jenelle finds herself a new soulmate.
But let's just zero in on this week, OK?
On Monday, we learned that our dear Jenelle recently had ... a bit of an incident, we'll say.
Last week, she was involved in a big, terrifying fiasco while driving her son Jace home from a therapy appointment -- remember that little tidbit, because the irony of that will be revealed in a moment.
Something happened with another driver, and she called 911, complaining that the driver had "purposely slammed on the brakes," and when she braked to avoid hitting the car, Jace "almost got whiplash and almost hit the dash."
Well, that was her story, anyway.
According to the driver that found himself in this situation with Jenelle, things went down a lot differently.
In this version of events, Jenelle was driving erratically, so this guy passed her, and she immediately flipped out.
She allegedly flipped out so hard that she followed him back to his house, hit two cars on his property as well as his mailbox, then "pulled a gun."
Those are some pretty big details she omitted, huh?
She left the guy's house before police arrived, so the assumption is that the incident is currently being investigated.
With reports that Teen Mom 2 was filming during all of this, one would think it would be relatively easy to figure out exactly what happened.
But, wouldn't you know, David's got his own story.
In a comment on Facebook, he said that we've only heard one side of the story, and that what actually happened was that the other driver "tried to kidnap her."
That doesn't make any sense for multiple reasons, one being that we've heard Jenelle's 911 call, and you'd think that if the guy tried to kidnap her then it would have come up.
Also, at what point did he try to kidnap her? Was it when they were both driving or after she followed him home, hit his mailbox, and pulled out a gun with two children in her car?
It's just a really dumb thing to say, but since this is David, there's been no shortage of dumb statements this week.
After Kailyn Lowry spoke out about David's comments on Leah Messer's daughter -- lots of drama between Teen Mom 2 cast members lately! -- he decided to attack Kailyn in a Facebook post.
"So I guess Kailyn Lowry got her keyboard so greasy from cheetos that her finger slipped and said some more tough guy sh-t about me and my wife," he wrote.
"Apparently her plastic surgeon filled her head with the same sh-t he filled her ass with."
We've already talked about how ridiculous that was, so let's skip ahead to the comments on that post because, for some reason, he thought it was appropriate to slam Jenelle's mother there.
He claimed that "Barb got fired from Walmart and wouldn't have sh-t right now if it wasn't for keeping Jace from his mother so she can get a MTV paycheck."
"I make more in a month than she made in a year (before she got fired)."
The rage is real, right?
Barbara isn't keeping Jace from Jenelle, Jenelle signed over custody to her and then last year she agreed to visitation instead of going for custody.
Barbara has also worked hard for her entire life to take care of her kids, and now her kids' kids, and she's said that she puts all the Teen Mom money away for Jace's future.
Also, David quit his job when he started dating Jenelle, and now he's been fired from the show, so where exactly is his money coming from?
We're not sure, but in another comment, he told someone "I probably make at least 100x more money than you."
He explained that "I don't have what you would call a 'job,' I'm an investor and business owner but that's none of your business, is it?"
OK, so let's say, just for fun, that this person David's speaking with makes $10,000 a year -- a super, super low amount well below poverty level.
We're saying that because if David thinks he makes 100 times more than that, that would make him a literal millionaire, even besides the money Jenelle makes from MTV.
And that is obviously very, very untrue.
What business does he own? What has he invested in? What does he do that has him making more money than Jenelle?
Why does he say these things that are so clearly false? Does he actually think people will believe it? Does he believe it himself?
So many questions, and absolutely zero answers -- yet another way these people have proven themselves to be disappointments.

By now, you're almost certainly familiar with the ongoing Stormy Daniels sex scandal.
And depending on where you land on the political spectrum, you've likely reached one of two conclusions about it:
Either you think it's a witch hunt designed to bring an end to the Trump presidency, or you believe this is the loose thread that will cause Trump's vast tapestry of corruption to finally unravel.
Whatever the case, Stormy and her charismatic lawyer, Michael Avennatti, won't be going away anytime soon, particularly after comments Rudy Giuliani made during a recent interview with Sean Hannity.
In either a major slip-up or a baffling strategic move, Giuliani admitted Wednesday night that Trump reimbursed his attorney Michael Cohen for the $130,000 payment Cohen made to Daniels as part of a non-disclosure agreement.
"Funneled through a law firm, and the president repaid it," Giuliani said of the hush money.
After the interview, Giuliani doubled-down on his statement, clarifying that his comment was no mere slip of the tongue, but a planned statement intended to absolve the president of violating federal election laws:
"That removes the campaign finance violation, and we have all the documentary proof for it," he said.
In case you've been avoiding all forms of media like the proverbial Nero busting out a sick Charlie Daniels solo while Rome burns to the ground, here's a rundown of what exactly that means:
Trump previously denied any knowledge of the Cohen payment, but getting caught lying is like eating a Big Mac for the president - he does it every day without a second thought about the consequences.
The reason this is such a bigger deal than all of those previous falsehoods is that Trump may be on the verge of getting caught in a major violation of campaign finance law.
Individual contributions to campaigns are limited to $2,700.
Obviously, Cohen's payment to Daniels exceeds that by a large margin, and since the payment directly benefited the Trump campaign, Cohen looked to be in pretty clear violation of FEC regulations.
By admitting that Trump repaid the cash, Giuliani is essentially arguing that $130,000 was a zero-interest loan, not a campaign donation.
Obviously, this raises a lot of other questions, primarily:
Why does a billionaire need to borrow $130,000 from his lawyer?
What did Cohen stand to gain from the arrangement?
And why did Trump feel the need to lie about the whole thing?
Since Cohen's office was raided by the FBI last month, these questions might be answered sooner rather than later.
So stay tuned for the exciting series finale of the bonkers reality show that is the Trump presidency!
It should be a doozy!

We're old school here at The Hollywood Gossip.
We like our President to be honest. We like our Kardashians to be plump.
And we like our jeans to actually cover our legs.
We wouldn't have thought this last point was worth mentioning... until came across something called Extreme Low-Cut Jeans from Los Angeles-based company Carmar Denim.
A model is rocking a pair above and below and we're very confused by them.
We understand how they are considered "Extreme."
And let there be no doubt that they're also "Low-Cut."
But "Jeans?" In what possible, sensible, rational, practical way could this piece of apparel be considered "Jeans?!?!?!?!?!"
There's not enough material here to cover one's thighs or rear end.
Carmar's Instagram page recently posted a picture with this model donning its latest creation, including with the photo a caption that reads:
"The Extreme Cut Out Pant, for those who dare to bare. #carmardenim #extremecutout #mood."
We're guessing the only "mood" this person feels right about now is "very cold and embarrassed."
And we're not alone.
Pretty much everyone on the Internet is confounded by what they're seeing here.
"You've got to be kidding me. Make them yourself people..." one Instagram user said.
"Good thing they have a zipper and a button at the crotch otherwise she'd be over exposed," said another.
"Who ever buys these jeans for $168 is out of their mind," said another.
Oh yeah: Did we mention these pants are on sale for $168?!?
Know what the most frightening thing is, aside from the aforementioned price tag?
If Kim Kardashian shilled for these online, the entire stock would probably sell out in approximately 37 seconds.
We checked the calendar and it's not April Fool's Day, so these jeans really are for sale.
Would you consider buying them?
Or we being too prude here?
Are we just not up to date on the latest fashion trends?
Would these actually be considered "in?"
Or are you as perplexed and as irritated as we are that a company has gone out of its way to make these atrocities?

The third season finale of Hollywood Medium aired, and Tyler Henry sat down with La Toya Jackson to speak of the tragic passing of late music legend Michael Jackson.
It has been nine years, and a number of lingering questions have weighed heavily on La Toya's heart and soul.
As you'll see in the video below, she's sitting down with everyone's favorite adorable Medium for a very serious conversation about Michael's final thoughts.
Tyler Henry speaks of Michael Jackson, saying:
"He's acknowledging that he should not have been left alone at a time when he was left alone."
The circumstances of Michael's passing have been a source of speculation and uncertainty for nine years, now.
"And that's coming in. And that's what he's putting a lot of emphasis on."
But it isn't La Toya who is to blame.
"The person who should have been there to monitor wasn't monitoring."
Henry says that the message communicated to him was that the person charged with looking after Michael had abandoned him.
"And it's like 'I trusted you to be there, I trusted the role that you were supposed to have to help me, and you left.'"
La Toya asks: "Did something happen while he was abandoned?"
Tyler Henry answers, saying:
"It's the interesting thing with this ... because I feel like, when he was abandoned, that would have been an ideal time for him to try to reach 911, to try to call for help, to try to get help."
This is when he begins to describe Michael's final thoughts.
"At this time, he realized that something was wrong while he was alive."
"And that's when he was conscious and realizing something's wrong here."
But again, he laments -- or rather, says that Michael laments -- that there was no one there to help.
"But I just don't feel like he had someone to, like, say 'hey, I'm having a medical emergency.'"
La Toya summarizes:
"Right, no one was there to save him, yeah, okay."
Tyler continues, this time lapsing into first person.
"And so after I realize that something is going wrong in here, there is this feeling of ... oh, this medication kicks in."
But those medications, Tyler says, robbed Michael of his ability to seek help.
"I actually become affected by this medicine."
And then he describes a powerful feeling of panic.
"So it's kind of like, a feeling of like, oh my god, what do I do, I don't want to waste time, like clearly something is happening."
He says that it happened quickly.
"And this is happening very fast."
La Toya responds to her illuminating experience with Tyler, syaing:
"I think what hurts more than anything else is that, not only is there a need for someone to be there for him, but there was a trusted person ... and that person wasn't there."
Even though she's mourned and processed Michael's death, she's still crushed. She will always grieve him.
"And just to hear that, really, it tears you apart."
Even to this day, she's heartbroken over it.
"I wanted to just cry."
We hope that Tyler Henry's reading was able to bring her closure.
Obviously, Hollywood Medium is sometimes controversial with certain groups.
Some believe that Tyler Henry is perpetrating a fraud and should not be speaking to these people, no matter how much closure and peace it may bring them.
Others believe that he is very real, but that his readings are the work of dark forces (the devil) and that mediums should not be "glorified" on television.
But no matter what you believe, it's hard to see that he's doing any harm. In fact, he seems to bring a lot of peace and closure to a lot of people.
Check out the video of his conversation with La Toya. She clearly feels validated by his words.
