Lori Loughlin has been caught on camera admitting to the crime for which she just got arrested.
Sort of, that is.
In a newly-surfaced video from 2017, the controversial actress and her teenager daughter, Olivia Jade, are recording footage for the latter's YouTube channel.
In a video titled “TEACHING MY MOM SLANG TERMS OF 2017,” Olivia, who was 17 at the time, tell the Full House star of the phrase, “England is my city," something made famous when fellow YouTuber Nick Crompton sang these words in Jake Paul‘s “It’s Everyday Bro.")
“England is NOT a city,” Loughlin tells her ignorant child in response, to which Olivia replies:
“I know, that’s why it’s so, so, so iconic on YouTube! … Well, it’s not iconic at all, it’s just really dumb.”
This whole conversation is really dumb, but it's also about to become very telling.
Loughlin, who was arrested this week for her role in a nationwide college bribery scandal, then says:
“If you would’ve said, ‘England is my city,’ I would say, ‘Why did I pay all this money for your education?'”
At this joke, he mother-daughter duo laugh and laugh and then laugh some more.
But few people are guffawing over pretty much this exact same thing right now.
Loughlin and her husband were each indicted by the FBI a few days ago because they allegedly paid a $500,000 bribe to pretend Olivia and her sister were high school crew team members.
They were subsequently admitted to the University of Southern California because an employee there listed them as potential athletic recruits, thereby lowering their admissions standards.
Loughlin and actress Felicity Huffman were the two best-known individuals involved in an arrested that netted dozens of wealthy parents, all of whom are accused of lying, cheating and bribing their kids' way into college.
Olivia Jade has since left USC, at which she barely studied, while Loughlin has since lost multiple jobs, including her role as leading lady on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart.
"We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations,” Crown Media Family Networks said in a statement, adding:
“We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production."
Olivia, for her part, lost her brand deal with Sephora.
“After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately,” a spokesperson for the beauty company has said.
Watch Loughlin make her so-called joke in this video now.

Poor Khloe Kardashian, right?
And yeah, we seem to say that a lot, but ... it's true.
Remember when she was with Lamar, back when things were good, and everyone watched them try to have a baby and it never worked out?
And then when Lamar started going off the rails and he publicly stated that he cheated on her in that humiliating video?
When she filed for divorce, then when he had his overdose and nearly died, and then when she stopped the divorce proceedings so that she could help him?
You get the picture.
It looked like things were going well for her for a while after that -- the divorce was finally finalized, she had a few relationships that didn't end horribly, and then she got with Tristan Thompson, who she thought she was going to marry.
And we all know how that turned out.
Khloe got pregnant, and just days before she gave birth, everyone found out that Tristan had been cheating on her.
She stayed for nearly a year after that, trying to make things work, but then he cheated with Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner's best friend and a friend of Khloe's as well.
That was the last straw, and now she's a single mom.
So how are things going now?
Apparently they're not too much different than before in many ways, because Khloe and True are still living in L.A. while Tristan does his basketball thing.
So it's not like he was a super present father and now she's going it alone.
And that's good, but recent reports have been claiming that Tristan's taking it a step farther, and that he's just not involved with True whatsoever.
We heard one of those reports a few days ago -- a source said that Khloe was "extremely upset" because "he isn't really making an effort to be involved in their daughter True's life."
He lives in Cleveland for work, and he is busy what with being in the NBA and all, and Khloe understands that.
But unfortunately, "she just feels that Tristan has moved on."
"Tristan's attitude seems to be, 'I will see True when I see her,'" the insider explained, which obviously isn't a great outlook.
All of this was very easy to believe, because as sad as it is, we just can't see Tristan going out of his way to be a good dad.
With all we've seen from him, it seems like hooking up with a wide variety of ladies is definitely number one on his list of priorities.
But Khloe got on Twitter this weekend, and she was quick to come to Tristan's defense.
Someone tweeted her about the rumors about Tristan that we just discussed, telling her "Hunny keep raising your daughter the best way you know how."
"All she needs is her mom. You're doing great. Keep ya head up."
"Thank you love!" Khloe responded. "You're so very sweet."
"But he is a good dad to her. My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that."
That's sweet, and we do believe that she's always going to do her best to save True from any drama going on between her and Tristan.
The only thing is that Khloe has a bit of a history of trying to see the absolute best in Tristan, no matter what his actions are, so there's a chance that "he is a good dad" part may be wishful thinking.
It would be great if it was true, but don't hold your breath or anything.
Poor Khloe, right?

Mike Thalassitis, a former reality star who competed on the third season of the British series Love Island, tragically passed away on Friday.
He was 26 years old.
The BBC reported that Thalassitis' death was confirmed by his management company, although we have no direct quote from that company ourselves.
There has been no announced cause of death, either.
As mentioned above, Thalassitis competed on the third season of the British reality show back in 2017, where he became known as "Muggy Mike."
He also appeared on Celebs Go Dating a year later in 2018.
According to the Daily Mailt, the ex-reality star was found dead on Friday in his hometown of Essex. That's all the information any outlet appears to have thus far on what transpired.
As far as his biography goes...
Thalassitis was a semi-pro soccer player who played on teams such as Chelmsford City F.C. and St. Albans City F.C.
A London-born athlete, he remained very close to a handful of his Love Island co-stars, many of whom mourned the loss on social media on Saturday.
Johnny Mitchell shared an especially long and poignant tribute.
"I genuinely can't believe what I'm seeing here," he wrote alongside a photo of the two friends smiling.
"My boy from the villa and one of my best mates from the show coming out. An absolute hero and a legend and someone I looked up to since I met him, always full of so much positivity and charisma.
"One of the best people I've ever known taken from us far too soon, I'm heartbroken and can't put into words how much I'm gonna miss you bro!
Here is the photo Mitchell included along with those very kind words:
Elsewhere, Love Island host Caroline Flack referred to Thalassitis a "total gentleman" in her post about him on Instagram.
And Rachel Fenton, another competitor, tweeted: "I'm lost for words. My heart breaks for your family."
Stevenage FC, a soccer team Thalassitis played for during his career, shared its own tribute. It reads:
"Everybody at #StevenageFC is shocked & saddened to hear the tragic news about former player Michael Thalassitis. Our sincerest condolences go to his family & friends."
According to the BBC, Thalassitis was previously in a relationship with The Only Way Is Essex star and country singer Megan McKenna.
Last June, another former Love Island contestant named Sophie Gradon, also passed away.
May Mike Thalassitis rest in peace.

Paris Jackson reportedly tried to kill herself on Saturday morning.
The 20-year old daughter of Michael Jackson was thankfully unsuccessful, but she is currently in the hospital and her family is very concerned.
Scroll down for all the details we have at this time...
According to TMZ, police and the paramedics both responded to Jackson's Los Angeles home at 7:30 a.m today.
It's unclear at this time exactly what state Paris was in and who called 911 -- but sources tell this website that Paris slit her wrists.
She was immidately transported to a hospital and placed on 5150 hold - which allows an individual with a purported mental illness to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization - and is in stable condition.
TMZ reports with confidence that Paris tried to take her own life as a "direct response to the allegations made against her father in Leaving Neverland," the recently-aired documentary in which Wade Robson and James Safechuck accuse Michael Jackson of molesting them as kids.
While such allegations have mostly been public knowledges for decades, this documentary depicted them in personal, sensitive and great detail for the first time in the eyes of many viewers.
Just a day before this alleged suicide attempt, we here at The Hollywood Gossip has written about how Jackson's loved ones were worried she might relapse into drug or alcohol use.
Or even something worse.
The 20-year old has staunchly defended her dad against these heinous sexual assault accusations -- but she was also spotted smoking weed in a video a few days ago that left many followers in a state of anxiety.
Jackson spent more of her teenage years battling substance abuse and had talked about attempting suicide many years ago.
"Y'all take my life more seriously than Ido. Calm yo tittaaaaysss [sic]," Paris wrote in response this to an article about the abuse allegedly suffered by Robson and Safechuck.
She followed this remark up with an explanatory statement that many fans found distressingly casual, considering the situation and the accusations against her world famous father.
"I didn't mean to offend by expressing that titties should be calm, I know injustices are frustrating and it's easy to get worked up," she wrote on Instagram, adding:
"But reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical than acting out of rage and also … it feels better to mellow out. Smoke some weed n think about the bigger picture. Chillax my dudes."
The fallout from Leaving Neverland has been abrupt and severe.
Michael's music and television appearances have been getting muted since HBO aired the project; The Simpsons, for example, recently announced it would never again air an episode that centered on The King of Pop.
Paris also tried to kill herself back in 2013 as well, and has been candid about her struggles with depression in the past.
Just two months ago, Jackson checked into rehab for what she deemed to be emotional health issues.
"After a busy year of work engagements that took her all over the globe, Paris decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health," a source close to Paris told People magazine at the time, concluding:
"She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan and is looking forward to coming out of this revitalized and ready to tackle the exciting new projects that await her."
Regardless of how you feel about Michael Jacksom, it's impossible not to feel for his children throughout all of this.
We send our prayers to Paris Jackson.
UPDATE: TMZ reports that Paris is out of the hospital.
But she has responded to the TMZ story on Twitter, writing, "f—k you you f—king liars."
She also posted a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories and wrote that she was "chillen like Bob Dylan."
