Mike Sorrentino: Prison Release Date FINALLY Revealed!

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 12:28 PM PST

As you've likely heard by now, Mike Sorrentino began his prison sentence earlier this week.

Back in January of 2018, Sorrentino pled guilty to charges that he had failed to pay taxes on more than $9 million in earnings.

Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months behind bars, and today, Radar Online has confirmed that his release date is scheduled for September 13 of this year.

Of course, prison release dates are rarely set in stone, particularly when the inmate in question is a celebrity who seems to have truly dedicated himself to rehabilitation and self-improvement in the months prior to his sentence.

Federal prison consultant Dan Wise confirms that The Sitch will likely be sprung well ahead of schedule.

Mike Sorrentino and Wife

But that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be permitted to head straight home:

"On such a short sentence of 8 months they will send him to a halfway house for two to three months at the end," Wise claimed.

"Because of who he is, he may even get home confinement."

The Situation Is Sober

Yes, Mike is likely to serve a shorter sentence largely because he's famous.

That's not to say that he's receiving preferential treatment because of his celebrity status (although that could certainly be the case).

The reasons why a parole board might prefer to grant Sorrentino an early release have more to do with the fact that celebrities are thought to be risky distractions by prison officials.

If anything should happen to Mike, a lot of people who prefer to keep low profiles would suddenly find themselves making national headlines.

Add that to the fact that Sorrentino's sobriety and philanthropic work has been well-documented by MTV camera crews, and it's not hard to see why Mike might be a prime candidate for early release.

All he has to do now is keep is nose clean and serve his time quietly.

The Situation and Lauren Pesce

According to Sorrentino's wife, Lauren Pesce, that's exactly what he's been doing.

Pesce tweeted an update to fans from Mike's account earlier this week:

"Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love & support," she wrote.

Lauren Pesce, The Situation

"We speak everyday & he's doing great.

He's received thousands of letters, he won't be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude to each and every one of you," Lauren added.

"Thank you from the both of us; it is truly heartwarming to have this support during this time."

Here's hoping Mike's time on the inside is as brief and uneventful as possible.

Leida Margaretha: 90 Day Fiance Villain Accused of Violent Attack

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 12:26 PM PST

Leida Margaretha may have been the most hated cast member of her 90 Day Fiance season, which is quite the accomplishment.

During the Tell All Part 2, Leida's conflict with Eric Rosenbrook's daughter took center stage.

But now her former sister-in-law has come forward to accuse Leida of a brutal violent attack.

Leida Margaretha on 90 Day Fiance

Leida Margaretha has a young son, Alessandro, from a previous relationship.

Alessandro's father is a man named Daniel, and Daniel's sister is a woman named Amelia.

(Amelia is still Alessandro's aunt)

She says that Leida's toxic behavior began long, long before she ever became a reality star.

Amelia went on social media and claimed that Leida attacked her when they were still sisters-in-law.

And Leida was apparently being investigated by the police for this particular attack.

Leida Margaretha

To no one's surprise, this apparently began with an argument between Leida and Daniel.

After the bickering, Leida wanted Amelia to return with her to her parents' house -- but Amelia did not want to.

"The next morning she was mad at me and destroy all me belongings," Amelia says.

She explains that Leida felt entitled to do so "because she thinks all my belongings is belong to her."

Amelia accuses Leida of stealing money from her and of threatening to ruin Daniel's business, financed by her wealthy family, if they broke up.

Leida is Unhappy

Beware, folks, because this is where the details turn violent.

Amelia says that Leida has "anger issues" that drove her to track Amelia down when she was staying at her aunt's house.

She says that Leida arrived uninvited and was "screaming because I talk back to her."

Leida was allegedly "really mad" and "hit me and punch me in my face and my head at the same time."

Amelia also says that Leida kicked her during this encounter.

She notes that, during the assault, Leida allegedly shouted "you should die!!"

Eric Rosenbrook and Leida Margaretha

Obviously, a physical attack is the sort of thing where police get involved.

Amelia says that she did press charges -- initially.

But Leida allegedly went to great lengths to "manipulate me to drop the case," Amelia says.

And, eventually, it worked.

Amelia blames herself for dropping the charges, lamenting that she was "stupid and innocent."

There are a lot of violent, manipulative people in this world. It is never the victim's fault.

Leida and Eric

Amelia had much more to say about Leida, including accusing her of using expensive gifts to "blackmail" her own friends.

At times, she would allegedly give someone a gift and then threaten to take it back if they displeased her.

Amelia also says that Leida would surprise people with gifts, like a concert ticket to see Katy Perry, and later claim that the person begged for it.

That also sounds nasty and toxic ... and there's more.

Amelia says that Leida had very specifically banged on her door, screamed at her, and invaded her privacy over having a "messy room."

Does this sound familiar to anyone else? It should.

Messiness was Leida's exact issue with Eric's teenage daughter, Tasha, whom she forced out of her own home.

90 Day Fiance Tasha vs Leida

Leida's own castmates were horrified and shocked by Leida's treatment of Tasha.

The only thing worse to them, some of whom are parents themselves, was the way that Eric seemed to accept Leida's behavior.

He admitted that he knew that Leida had called his own daughter a "bitch." He didn't seem to care.

He also caved to Leida's emotional blackmail and banned his own daughter from her apartment.

As of the Tell All's filming, he and Tasha have no relationship, and he sounds perfectly happy with that.

Maybe he and Leida deserve each other.

Eric Rosenbrook defends Leida of course

Eric has seen these accusations against Leida -- taking aim at Soap Dirt for covering these same social media posts.

He then tells them their business, insisting that they should hear both sides if they wish to be taken seriously.

Our take is that Eric is the last person to lecture people on taking people seriously.

Also, Soap Dirt and other outlets are just reporting Amelia's accusations, the same as we are.

If Eric wants to share Leida's side of the alleged violent attack, he is free to do that.

Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores Exchange Veiled Barbs After Split

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 11:30 AM PST

The 90 Day Fiance couple everyone thought had made it ... did not.

Jonathan and Fernanda have addressed their split in separate posts. But not everything is amicable.

Now, the two are making vague posts about which of them is the better person.

Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores Dance

Fernanda had taken a "break" from social media. This week, she returned.

"Some of the kindest souls I know have lived in a world that was not so kind to them," she wrote in a vague post.

"Some of the best human beings I know," Fernanda continued. "Have been through so much at the hands of others."

"And," Fernanda said, those people "still love deeply, they still care."

"Sometimes," she noted. "It's people who have been hurt the most, who refuse to be hardened in this world."

Fernanda says that this is "because they would never want to make another person feel the same way they themselves have felt."

It is difficult to read that and not interpret it as meaning that she will remain hopeful despite her broken marriage.

Fernanda Flores in the City

In another post, still without naming Jonathan, Fernanda views her current situation through a religious lens.

"I declare that God has a great plan for my life," Fernanda begins.

"He is directing my steps," she writes.

"And even though I may not always understand how," Fernanda admits. "I know that my situation is not a surprise to God."

"He will work out every detail to my advantage," she trusts.

"In his perfect timing," Fernanda concludes. "Everything will turn right."

Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores

Jonathan has also been active on social media.

For the most part, as we have mentioned, he has been continuing as if it is business as usual.

As we reported on Thursday, Jonathan shared a program that he started for underprivileged children in his community.

But he has also shared a very succinct text post.

"Be kind to people for no good reason," the image reads.

"#nocaptionneeded," he wrote as his caption.

Jonathan Rivera

Those posts are vague but generally pleasant.

We wish that we could say the same for Jonathan and Fernanda's marriage.

"I haven't spoken to Fernanda since December 22," Jonathan clarified last week.

"I have a lot going on," he explained. "And so in the midst of all the craziness, I try to focus on what's important."

Even so, he wanted to make it extremely clear that Fernanda isn't any more of a villain than he is.

"Fernanda's not a gold digger," he affirmed. "Fernanda didn't come here for a green card."

"What happened was things change," he admitted. "Things change and people change and I can't help that."

Fernanda Flores and Jonathan Rivera

"Every marriage has its problems. Every relationship has its issues," Jonathan said on Instagram Live.

"It's all about your attitude," he noted. "As long as you're positive… [I] gotta take it day by day."

"I promise you, I didn't give up," he assured fans. I gave 110 percent to my marriage."

In the end, he says: "I reached a point where I said, 'I have to love myself just as much.'"

We hope that, at some point, Jon or Fernanda or both of them will explain what happened.

Until then, they're clearly both in a lot of pain.

That said, there are far less healthy couples on 90 Day Fiance.

David Eason Threatens Woman With Gun: New Details of Alleged Incident Emerge

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 11:17 AM PST

As you may have heard, David Eason has been accused of threatening a woman with a gun after she committed the unforgivable sin of pulling over on a public road near his property.

There have been so many Eason scandals in recent weeks that it can be hard to keep track of them all.

So here's a brief recap:

David allegedly threatened to shoot a 57-year-old woman named Sandra Britt earlier this week.

Like most bullies, he hoped Britt would just quietly slink away after he asserted his false dominance, but unfortunately for David, both Sandra and her daughter are calling him out every chance they get.

Take a look:

Farrah Abraham is Charging $10,000 for Therapy Sessions. Yes, Really.

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 11:07 AM PST

Farrah Abraham always does wild and wacky things that don't really make too much sense for those of us with multiple brain cells.

That's just her, you know?

But sometimes, every once in a while, she crosses a line.

And that's when she goes from being dumb and pitiful but still entertaining to just flat out nuts.

Lucky for you, friends, this is one of those times.

1. The Facts

Farrah photo
Farrah has never been that emotionally stable, right?

2. Another Fact

But that's not necessarily her fault.

3. Too Wild

Debra danielsen in 2010
As we've seen on MTV over the years, Farrah's family is pretty out there -- and some of them are also abusive, considering the fact that her mother, Debra Danielsen, hit her twice in the early seasons of Teen Mom.

4. Bizarre

We've seen how weird those relationships are, and we've seen Farrah cry several times over some serious abuse in her childhood that to this day, she's never talked about.

5. Don't Forget Sophia!

Farrah also got pregnant at 16 and raised the kid alone since the father, her sometimes-boyfriend Derek Underwood, died in a car accident before she gave birth.

Tamra Judge's Son Pushes for Murder of "Transgender F-ckhead"

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 10:56 AM PST

Ryan Vieth has done his best David Eason impression online.

And anyone remotely familiar with Jenelle Evans' bigoted husband is well aware that this is not meant as a compliment.

Vieth, however, has gone on the sort of homophobic Instagram rant that Eason has made famous over the past year or so, going as far as to suggest that someone he refers to as a "transgendered f-ck head" should be murdered.

Yes, murdered.

How did he wind up making this wild statement? In what conceivable context?!?

Scroll down to find out...

1. Who is Ryan Vieth?

Who is ryan vieth
He's the 33-year old son of Tamra Judge and Darren Vieth. He's been pretty outspoken on social media over the years.

Prepare yourselves here, readers. Ryan seriously WENT OFF here.

3. What the Heck Did He Say?

What the heck did he say
Referencing an indvidual who sued a Colorado baker for refusing to make a cake celebrating their gender transition, Ryan wrote: "Hopefully this guy goes on a rampage and kills whatever transgendered f-ck head took him to court. Ooops did I just say that."

4. Yes, You Just Said That... And Then You Said a Lot More

Yes you just said that and then you said a lot more
"This country needs to kill off this f-ckery bullshit," he added, still talking about the issue of transgender people.

5. Ryan Deleted This Post, But...

Ryan deleted this post but
... he wasn't done trashing an entire community of people. "Repost, deleted the entire post when I tried to delete someone comment for calling me a vile person hahahaha," he wrote in its place. "You want to be transgender cool that's your life but don't push your transgender bullsh-t on me or America."

6. Wait, How is Someone in Colorado Pushing His/Her Lifestyle on You Again?

Jeremy Roloff Tries to Quell Rumors That He Hates His Brother

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 10:13 AM PST

Little People, Big World.

Imaginary Beef?

That's what Jeremy Roloff would like folks to think, at least, as the veteran TLC personality just shared a photo of his brother that we believe is a direct response to an article we wrote a few days ago about their relationship.

Jeremy Roloff and Jacob

For those who missed it, we surmised this week that there was tension between the siblings because Jacob suddenly stopped following Jeremy on Instagram.

This had to have been a conscious decision and it was one that left fans of the Roloff family wondering and speculating.

Considering we had also heard talk of problems between Jacob and Jeremy's wife, Audrey, it wasn't inconceivable that issues could also exist between the brothers themselves.

Is this actually the case?

Or have Internet users been reading too much into Jacob's moves on social media?

Hugging Ember

It's the latter, Jeremy is seemngly now claiming.

"Happy birthday little brother!" Jeremy wrote as a caption to the first photo shared above, adding on Thursday:

"Hope you have a good one running the dogs, reading, probably playing chess, and of course driving ol ruby around. I always enjoy our convos and we look forward to having you guys over again soon for a fire.

"Love you brother, see you soon! Wish Jacob a happy birthday!"

As you can see, Jeremy doesn't directly mention any sort of rivalry with Jacob.

But it's not hard to figure he posted this message as an indirect way of telling folks to calm the eff down because he and his brother get along just fine.

Jacob and a Pal

Little People, Big World is on the way back with new episodes this spring, but we won't be hearing much from either sibling during this upcoming season.

That's because Jacob quit the show in the summer of 2016, telling followers he simply couldn't handle all the phoniness, while Jeremy followed suit two years later.

He and Audrey surprised viewers a few months ago when they announced they were done filming the long-running cable network hit.

In confirming his exit, this is what Jeremy wrote online:

After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come.

A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can't say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride.

We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun.

We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically - the show must go on!

What a Perfect Pair

If any events bring the Roloffs together, and Jeremy or Audrey are on hand, they won't hide from the camera or anything.

So you may literally see them on screen again.

But not as regular cast members of any kind.

"We're not disappearing," Jeremy concluded in July. "We have a lot of exciting stuff in the works and are eager to continue the work that the Lord has called us to!

"THANK YOU for all the love and support. Your messages, comments, gifts, and mail are noticed and appreciated. You guys are the best. Thank you for respecting our decision."

Meri Brown Cozies Up to Kody Brown Despite Crumbling Marriage

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 09:41 AM PST

After that tense promo for Season 8 of Sister Wives, fans are questioning if Meri Brown will even stick around.

In real time, however, she just celebrated her birthday.

And Kody was right there to celebrate it with her. Take a look:

Meri Brown and Kody Brown Celebrate Her Birthday

Meri Brown shared this cheerful photo of her with her husband, Kody.

In the captions of the Instagram picture, she provided the happy context.

"So Kody and I went out for my birthday the other night," Meri begins.

"And," she shares, the two of them "found this hidden gem in Flagstaff."

"I mean, maybe it was hidden," she admits.

Meri then presents an alternative: "maybe we're just new to town lol!"

Meri Brown and Kody

As you may recall, the Sister Wives officially moved to Arizona in September of 2018.

So, what was this possible hole-in-the-wall that Meri and Kody discovered?

"#BlackBartsSteakhouse and Musical Revue was so fun," Meri raves.

"And," she continues. "We got to experience the musical talents of students from #NAU."

Live music hit or miss, so we're glad that they enjoyed it.

"Definitely a win!!" Meri concluded.

Meri Brown on Insta

Meri also included some curious hashtags after her caption.

"#LivingMyWhy," Meri writes. "#BecauseICan."

"#LoveWhatIDo," Meri added. "#LifeFulfilled."

It's always nice to see people enjoying their lives -- especially on their birthday.

Some Sister Wives fans may find her post reassuring after that uncomfortable promo.

Meri Brown Up High

During the Season 8 promo, Meri was crushed when Kody refused to give her a down payment for the bed and breakfast that she wants to open.

She and Kody were in conflict after that, and Meri seemed -- once again -- like she wanted to make a change.

"Part of me wants to just stand up and say, okay fine, I don't need you guys," Meri said.

Some interpreted that as Meri saying that she had one foot out the door already.

Others believed that she was simply resolving to open the bed and breakfast on her own.

Meri Brown Returns

There was more, however, as Meri spoke to her sister-wife, Christine Brown.

"You don't feel comfortable around me," Meri accused.

Christine was then shown speaking into the confessional.

"The sister wives relationship is super tricky," Christine admitted.

Meri Brown and Christine Brown

Christine explained that this is "because you're trying to be best friends with the woman who has a relationship with your husband."

That makes sense.

Some polyamorous relationships feature everyone involved in a relationship with everyone else.

That is not the case for Mormon polygamy.

They are each married to Kody and Kody to them.

Jealousy and favoritism have been major thematic issues for the Sister Wives.

Meri Brown Cries

Part of that tension remains rooted in Meri's six-month online relationship -- one that turned out to be the result of Catfishing.

"I didn't know how to get out of the situation without putting myself, family, and friends at greater risk," Meri admitted.

"It was a very difficult time," she confessed. "I had a lot of anxiety."

"My family was very concerned for our safety," she continued. "And angry that we had been targeted."

Some fans have been rooting for Meri to get away from Kody, whom many consider to be a creep.

Sister Wives is an entertaining show, but it might not be the picture-perfect example of a healthy multiple marriage that Kody wishes it were.

Jenelle Evans: Did She REALLY Quit Teen Mom 2?!

Posted: 18 Jan 2019 09:29 AM PST

At this point, just about every star in the Teen Mom franchise has threatened to quit the show over clashes with producers and/or fans.

Thus far, none of the moms has actually made good on her threats.

Jenelle Evans is Sad

That's not surprising, as it's easier to talk about walking away from a cushy six-figure gig than it is to actually do it.

These days, Jenelle Evans is threatening to quit, and she may be the first to actually cut ties with the show by choice.

After all, no cast member has ever generated nearly as much controversy -- or attracted as much negative attention -- as Jenelle.

Jenelle Evans and David Eason in December

In a new trailer for the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle engages in a heated discussion with her mother, Barbara Evans.

(Most of Jenelle's conversations are with Barbara this season, as her husband, David Eason, was fired from the show, and she's not on speaking terms with her most recent ex, Nathan Griffith.)

"This will probably be my last season," a tearful Jenelle tells her mom in the clip below.

"Stay the f--k away from me, because I'm done," she adds, in case anyone doubted her sincerity.

Jenelle certainly sounds like her mind is made up in that clip.

And while we would be somewhat surprised to see her cut off her family's sole source of income (David remains unemployed nearly a year after losing his TV gig.), Jenelle has been signaling that she's fed up with the show for quite some time now.

Jenelle in Leggings

And with all the negative attention she's been drawing to herself lately, stepping away from the spotlight is probably the best thing Jenelle could do.

Well, divorcing David Eason and fleeing with her kids to safety is the best thing Jenelle could do, but lowering her public profile is the second best thing she could do.

There have been so many David and Jenelle scandals in recent months that it's difficult to decide which is the most horrendous.

David Eason and Jenelle Evans: In Love

Obviously, David (allegedly) beating Jenelle and leaving her hospitalized is a strong contender.

But Eason posting terrorist threats on Instagram and being investigated by the Secret Service is pretty f--ked up, as well.

In a perfect world, the decision wouldn't be Jenelle's to make, and MTV would kick her to the curb so as not to continue financing a family of violent bigots.

But since it doesn't seem like that's gonna happen, we'll take Jenelle quitting as a consolation prize.
